  • With an early spring being here, I wanted to upgrade my 1968 Plymouth Barracuda drag car from last years. I am intending to increase my fuel supply, traction, and adding some better fitting Valve covers and upgraded hardware for a better seal on my aluminum heads.
    First test session and race is soon! Check out the playlist if you want to see how much the car has changed in the last 2 years.

    Remember point load math with slicks. Wider is not always better. The more weight you displace across the tire is less pressure on the face of the tire. Thus sticker compounds are important to hook. Consistency wins races in bracket racing period. Another thing about tires is lower rpm launch is helpful but you can break loose at 60ft too. Remember race it, break it, repeat till you get it right Joe.

    • @JustMoparJoe
      @JustMoparJoe  11 месяцев назад +2

      I run on some less than ideal surfaces. Even a redneck like myself can make a slick work. I don’t think I need steam rollers with my combination, but for my goals, wider will be better. Should have some news soon!
