Looked like a great day of racing, very competitive! Barracuda is running awesome, and pretty nice dart…you don’t see too many of those. Just curious, do you think that car is lighter than yours? Thanks for taking us along brother, see ya next time 😊
Man that little A-body is rollin! Excellent video Joe! Looking forward to seeing how the new converter and transmission work out. If they get the converter right it's going to keep picking up! I need to go back and watch the videos on this engine. Thanks for sharing, Brother. Kevin
You’ve found a really good combination. Looks like you’ve got some good traction working. Reving good and it sounds like its shifting really good 👍👍👍 Thanks for showing us. That sound never gets old !!!!
Great Job. You look like you got your launch worked out. It looked alot better than it did the end of last year. I can run with ya heads up but your far better bracket racing than I. I blame that on old man syndrome.
Great videos Joe,, car is running hard,,, can i ask what you foot brake it at the line, and what are you using for a stall converter rpm wise..as a comparion for my 512 street car and about to install a 3000 rpm
Thank you! This converter is too tight. I was launching around 1,500 rpm, but it flashes to 4,800. Each converter will act differently behind different engines. I’m not certain about what this one was factory rated at, but it was for a 75% street driven car.
She squats real nice at launch and the rpms sound great. People are going to have trouble with you this year with that new trans and convertor. Are you pedaling that at the light or do you use a trans brake? Thanks for the ride along Joe!😊
Thanks brother. That’s why bracket racing is so fun and for everyone. The slower car gets to go first. Let me find a link to my video explaining how it works.
Boy, that would freak me out! Ever been at a red light with the left turn lane next to you and have it get a green light making you think for a moment that you too had a green?! @@JustMoparJoe
Sure made a difference putting the slicks on I find that these cars hook good at least mine did but I wasn’t near as fast as you good for you on the pro class put that gm on the trailer you got a good setup I would say
Thanks Ricky. I’m currently track point’s champion 😂. But I’m going to try IHRA points series. It starts in April and only has 5 races before the Summit Racing Bracket nationals
Thanks Ricky. I’m currently track point’s champion 😂. But I’m going to try IHRA points series. It starts in April and only has 5 races before the Summit Racing Bracket nationals
Those new slicks stick great. Seems the tree was kicking your ass and that's rare for you. So the cope trans has no trans brake so gonna foot brake it or line lock? What was your launch rpm? I think for the first time out it was a good day and the car held up well.
Never was Dynoed. This engine is 12.7/1 compression, so I run VP 110. It’s got a simple top end with Edelbrock e street heads and a street dominator intake, with a 4150 AED carb 850 cfm.

Thanks for the help and fun times!
Good Racing Joe.
You did great!
Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks, Ed! Gotta make the best with an untested combination! Slicks, transmission, and converter all were a mystery for the weekend!

The 'Cuda launches even and hard! Looks like you've got it dialed in. Good luck and have fun with it!!
Thanks Terry Legend! I hope you’re 💯 again!
Looks like my old magical mystery 727 has served you well. Lol. The car is running awesome.
Thanks again! She’s out on the floor now. Ready for its new home 🫡
Yer Cuda is a head turner and a neck snapper, quick car and looks great wearing those slicks, especially with the front tires catching a little air
Thanks Dina!
Looks awesome Joe😊
Thanks Shane!
Awesome day at the strip! A pay out and good friends to lend a hand. Car is running great too. That’s what it’s all about.
I appreciate that! It was a fun day! Hope y’all get some warm weather soon!

Looked good! Love these types of videos!
More to come! Thanks Stan
Great job!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching!
Nice job at the track....can't wait to watch more time at the track .....good content and thanks
More to come! I’ll have the new trans and old converter back in for action!
Looks like a fun day at the track Joe. Guess I’m the only guy this year without a Cope transmission . Bringin’ the same old junk this year.
Thanks Mark! Come on out!
Solid work joe, chassis coming around nicely 👍.
Thanks brother. There’s definitely more potential there.
Awesome news on the multi-variable success! Can't wait to see it.
Thanks buddy
Nice runs, and your hav'n fun. Here, on March 22 we have about 4 inches of snow that came today !! ☺
Oh wow! Thanks Tim! I know you’re ready to print some slips off this year!
Really enjoy the Drag action. Made my first pass in 1973.
That’s awesome!

That's the plan! I’m hoping to improve on it all! Driver especially
Congrats man! That thing launches hard!
Thanks brother. It’s tight on the launch, but will be better next time out!
Locked like a great day out, couple fast car's, 🎉 ,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Thanks brother!
Great job!! A true bracket racer
Thanks Greg!
Joe,
Great to see you back on the job !!!!
Adjust that hood on passenger side, will look much better.
Take care,
Phil😎
Haha! Thanks Phil. It’s a fiberglass hood with a single stock hinge to hold it up. I can play with it again sometime.
Joe that car is amazing!
Thanks brother. It’s coming around! I’m ready to try good converter and stouter transmission!
Looks like fun. That's what it's all about.
Thanks brother
Congratulations. Your car sounds great and ran great. Always enjoy your show.
Awesome, thank you!
looking real good out there 👊🏽✊🏽
Thanks brother
Well, you got it running pretty good now, you'll get it all dialed in soon. Keep up the good work joe
Thanks Jeff!
That combination is working good
Thanks, buddy. I’m going back to my old converter after it’s repaired. It may change the launch times
Thanks for the mention Joe!
You bet! Thanks for the great service and feedback. I’ll definitely share your information every time people ask.

Thanks 👍 I’ll keep working on it all!
All that homework payed off, Launched hard and consistent all day only gets better
Absolutely! Converter will be a wake up for sure!
BAM! That's a solid mid-9 second car, Joe. Great work!
Thanks, Kevin! With the 4.10’s and 29” slick I’m only crossing the 1/8 at 6,000.

Bad ass Joe! Looks like a great time.
Thanks, Jason! I’m hoping to bring it this year!
You sure you weren’t a maths teacher 👨🏫 Joe . 😀 looks like a great day 👍🏻🇦🇺.

Good video Joe. Enjoyed the racing.

Wow! Poppin wheelies! Woo hoo!
Oh yeah! I think it’ll like the new converter
Nice looking car and great performance.
Thanks brother! Should pick up some by the end of the year.

Thanks Rooster. The trans is out now. Converter is in the mail. All of these passes are null and void until I get the new trans and converter in.
Coming to the dark side I see! Radials are cool until you start going real fast. Suspension combination becomes more expensive 😂
I’m with you. But you know I’ve got a buddy coming for the 10.5 class on drag radials 🤔

What rear gear you running?
4.10, with the tightest converter in the state!
What are the rear tire size?
4.10 gear, 29x10.5w slick
What Trac Joe?
This was in Newport Arkansas
hi bro what where your afr’s at ???
Wide open was only 13.6!!!! It needed more jetting for sure, but was safe enough to run the day.
Well I hope you won a couple of dollars instead of some trophy
Yes sir. Covered the trip, entry, and sending my old converter back to be rebuilt. Also that $12 a gallon vp110!
