    I started pole dancing by signing up for a heels class that turned out to be an Exotic Heels class 🤣 I loved it and love dancing in my pole shoes, but am now trying to find a great pair of Heels for non exotic classes. So glad I found your channel, I was dreading having to order from an Aldo without knowing what I needed! Thanks for all the knowledge!

The shoe review was extremely helpful. I've been contemplating about making the investment, but after watching this video, I believe it will be well worth it.

    I really appreciate your informed perspective! This is just about the rigjt price point for me. I got some $30 amazon special shoes to get me through my first ahow, and I think It's time to step into something a little nicer.

      They definitely feel worth their price point! I would say if you do get them, make sure that you really tighten the laces and use the zipper in the back to take them on and off instead. They can stretch a bit over time and feel extra wide if you don’t keep the laces tight.

    Very thorough video. Thanks for sharing your review. Planning on purchasing the Moment shoe from Kiira's collection as a first pair. Do you have an update on how you like the shoe? Glad it was helpful! I still love mine and think they are 100% worth the investment. The laces are still strong (no fraying), the taps are still in tact, and the leather soles are still properly attached 😌

    Congratulations on reaching 1K subbies!!! I absolutely love your content as a new dancer! Additionally, I own a pair of Burju (Jezebel) && I adore them. So light and sturdy. I too STRUGGLED with the sizing. I actually purchased a pair and they didn’t fit so I had to resize & reorder... but the process was seamless to do so.

      @kiwibrown Hiiiiii! I love my Jezabel’s!! I wear a US Woman’s 8 in shoes and ordered that size at first. When I got them, they were too small, even for them to be open toe.
      I did use Burju’s printable sizing chart, however it took me FOREVER to figure out my foot measurements. The reason was because the chart printed 5-10cm (or so lol) too small on the page and completely threw off my foot measurements.
      Once I figured that out, I played with the image size on the page (adjusting the scale to 135% for example) and printed it. As you can imagine, I printed ALOT of pages before I figured out the right size the image needed to be in order to give accurate foot measurements.
      I learned that I needed to order a half size up (US 8.5) and they fit perfectly. So now I know to print the size chart and use a ruler to make sure that the measurements on the chart matches the ruler. Hope this helps ❤️

    May I ask you, is the sizing for dance heels fundamentally and/or significantly different from general high heels? Measuring my foot the way the site recommends, I'd be buying a shoe three or four sizes larger than I normally wear.

    • @GaylynLareese
      @GaylynLareese  3 года назад +2

      3 or 4 sizes sounds a bit much but this specific brands sizing does run slightly small. Mine are a half size larger than my normal street shoe size. There are 2 different ways to do the sizing; the print out and measuring your foot. I would recommend doing both to check and make sure. Also make sure the size guide is being printed to the correct scale

    I bought my first pair of burgus shoes because of your video. My usual heel size is 7.5 so I ordered a size 7. But when I tried them on they fit good but the sides were not snug there was a lot of empty space when I tied them up. So I ordered a 6.5 but now I'm worried if they will fit too small. I have a skinny narrow foot. Were the sides of your heels snug or was there a bit of empty space?

    • @GaylynLareese
      @GaylynLareese  Год назад +1

      I believe there was a bit of space. If you have a style with laces, make sure you are tightening all of the strings from the base by your toes all the way up, not just the ones around your ankle. Everyone’s feet are different and companies change manufacturers and patterns all the time. The video is extremely old so keep an eye on the return policy and send them back if you can and aren’t happy with them.

      @@GaylynLareese Thank you for your reply I appreciate it. I did tie it from the base but there was a lot of empty space on the sides including my ankles. Hoping the 6.5 will be more snug. Girl it's expensive returning these heels 😭

    Thank you for your great helpful videos for dancers! ♥ Could you please tell the size of your feet in cm? I'm asking because I'm really confused with reviews on Burju's site, a lot of people say they half-size/full size up. And my feet are 25 cm, which is 8.5 according to their size chart - which is already a half size up from my usual size. So do I need to size up in cm (get 25.5 which turns to be 9), or should I size up my regular size (from 8 to 8.5) 🤯I hope I was clear 😆

    • @GaylynLareese
