    What I love to do my favorite thing is to take my shoes to my shoe repair man and he actually takes out the slippery factory heel and puts on a brand new non-slippery heel which is absolutely excellent! I had to do this with so many of my shoes I feel a lot better and I don’t have to worry about slipping and falling

    Every video i see i can notice the connection with ballet, and i really never thought my ballet would be very helpful for commercial dance on heels! Thanks Gaylyn 😁❤️

      I use roll on deodorant. Put it on an hour before you plan to wear your shoes to ensure it closes the pores in your feet

    You saved me from putting grips on my heels! 😂 thank you! I'm gonna try the hairspray method. I'm afraid to scuff my Burjus because they're expensive and I don't wanna ruin them but do you think it's better than the hairspray method?

    • @GaylynLareese
      @GaylynLareese  3 года назад +2

      Scuffing definitely helps and doesn’t effect the durability of the shoe at all. Most dance shoes are expected to have a “breaking in” time when you scuff them or bend them to prepare them for dancing. I say give them a good scuffing first and then if they still feel a bit slippery, try some hairspray.☺️

    what to do about the opposite… My shoes won’t allow me to do turns… is there a way to loosen up some of the grip or ware them out somehow?

    • @GaylynLareese
      @GaylynLareese  2 года назад

      I honestly would suggest you not dance in those. Anything with a super rubbery sole or something too sticky can cause you to pivot wrong and injure your ankle during a turn. Especially if you don’t already have strong muscles around your ankles.
      If you are starting to dance in heels more try watching this video for how I pick my shoes. Hope this helps 🤗. ruclips.net/video/k6eUz1VYnDI/видео.html

    What if it's a bug stuck underneath the soles of your shoes in the tread. Can you just spray on top of it?

    HI! About the hairspray method: is it something to do one time, or maybe every time we use the heels? thanks

    • @GaylynLareese
      @GaylynLareese  3 года назад

      It’s a more temporary solution and has to be done every time you wear them.

  • @modelyourkiss5644

    No... What I do is rub them on my driveway!! Then I use hair wig glue to make tiny lines where the main part of the heels 👠👠 so that will be on the ball part of the heels that's flat.. The glue will dry in hold the heel from slipping.. Try it.. Make thin lines on the bottom of the heel where your pad foot would be.

    Hey! Love your video. I am falling over in my high heels which are a little too high for me to be honest...the problem is the stability...will the hairspray work or resin?...these are block heels...
