How lucky are we to have both these Bruces still going strong in 2020! I still have my first three Orpheus albums on warm, wonderful vinyl, all purchased in 1968 and '69.
"Can't Find The Time" still one of the best songs EVER - great job by the group Orpheus and the producer/arranger Alan Lorber - proud to have been the one to bring the group to Alan along with my partner David Jenks way back when!
"Can't Find the Time" to thank you enough, Ray. I grew up in the middle of a cornfield in western Ohio, and when the local radio stations powered down at sunset I could pull in the signal from Boston's WBZ -- Radio 103! Deejays Juicie Brucie Bradley and Dick Summer made me a lifelong fan of Orpheus and lead singer/songwriter Bruce Arnold, whose voice (for my money) was rivaled only by Sinatra's. And Alan Lorber on the East Coast produced their songs like Brian Wilson on the West Coast produced The Beach Boys. What a time it was to be a high school kid in love with music on the radio.
Just read under another comment that Bruce Arnold passed about 3 months ago. My condolences to his family and all loved ones. I hope his son John will continue to keep his father's music alive. Rest in Peace
