You can upsize tyres on stock hilux/fortuner up to 275/60/18 without messing with suspension and other parts. Unfortunately all local dealers only sell stock 265/60/18 or 285/60/18. 285s are stock size for land cruisers, nissan patrols and other American bigger SUVs. Which is why people have to bear the cost of suspension upgrades and messing up with centre of gravity of the vehicles. If possible, kindly make a video on 275s for hilux/fortuner to demonstrate that this tyre size upgrade can be fitted to their car without any mods. Love your work ❤❤
Hi brother. Do u import Enkei alloy wheels ?? If yes, can we fit enkei alloy wheels for thar ROXX with same offset as the original thar ROXX alloy wheel offset?? I mean the tyre should not come outside the car ..
There is no exclusive or new information/ knowledge given. These are all the basics. So if someone calls themselves a "car enthusiast" then he/she is bound to know these very basics. If not then they are not at all a car enthusiast.
Thank you boss for the detailed explanation, what tyre and rim would be better if I have to change the 19”alloy of Thar roxx as I want to have zero offset or very minor negative offset but tyre and rim 29:37 looks amazing . My use will be more of highway and very minor offending .
Thank you for the very informative video. I have a hilux with upsized BFG tyres (285/60R18) on the original rims. Have upgraded the suspension with 2 inch ironman lift and upper control arms. I want to upgrade the rims with negative offset. Can you suggest the ideal size for the rim. Don't want to have the tyre sticking out of the vehicle bodyline.
I have thar 4x2 RWD. I generally drive in city and highways and 5-6 time off-road in a year. I want to make thar more stable and reliable . I am looking for three things please suggest me 1. Suspension kit TOUGH DOG 2inch lift kit or IRON MAN that you have installed in your thar 4X4 2. Tyre 285/60 R18 or another 3. Alloys from black rhino. Exactly which dimension should be best in my case.
Hi Jaideep Singh, Rahul here. Kindly suggestwhat to choose for Hilux. My Use: Mild use in City traffic. Weekly travel on Highways. Most of my use on Highway roads cruising from 60-100km/h Around 5 times/Year Overlanding in and around state with Local Offroad group. Option 1: With Stock Alloys and Tyres upgrade Option 2: Alloys and Tyres upgrade Option: Alloys, Tyres and SUSPENSION Change. Kindly suggest the tire size and suspension Mod to be choosen.
The installation of 35” needs loads more work than just a regular lift kit and body mount chop. It will need those 6” Thai brand kits which add a lower A arm mount plate also. Not something I would do or recommend.
Hello sir, I'm having Hilux stock alloys(265/60/R18) can I upgrade to 285/60/R18 Maxiss (shown in this video) will get touch any inner part. Do we need to use space saver or will to go without space saver. Thanks in advance If you can ship to kerala Im willing to bu the same
Yes you can upgrade to 285/60/18 They will not rub/touch if you use the stock wheels. If you upgrade to wider or offset wheels, then there will be rubbing in multiple places.

Sir, I upsized to 285 60 R18 on stock rims on the HILUX. Please tell me that won’t harm anything.
Yes you can go ahead on the stock rims. If you change to wider/offset rims.
Then you will need a lift kit.
@@TreadTrails thank you sir. A big sigh of relief. I think upper control arms are very nearer to it.
Safest upgrade size for hilux/fortuner is 275/60/18, unfortunately local dealers lie to people that this size tyre is not manufactured.
