I'm also wondering about this. It seems like some of the times Sketchup fills the entire volume, walls and all, and then other time it just fills the closed off areas. I used to think that if it was a closed volume, that would determine if it showed a section fill or not, but that's not always the case. @@chikaputripradani7463 @thesketchupessentials

Wait but what if I want section fill in the walls, but I don't want to fill the interiors of the rooms, as depicted in the left side model?

You didnt address how to remove the fill from the room but leave the fill in the walls.
