How do I update components from a file? Lets say I am working on a site plan and the garage is a component in a file. I modify the garage file and I want to update the site plan with the new version of the garage. Can I keep the name of my garage or do I have to use a new name?

    ... a good video - thank you! 👍
is there a way to navigate directly to a desired component within the component window? - for example by entering it´s name somewhere? because I scroll up and down forever in big projects most of the time which is quite annoying ;-)

I agree 100%. The tiny thumbnails are barely useful at all. The easiest way at all it to go to the component in the model.

@@johnjlopez yes - also that I tried in the hope that then the desired component would get highlighted in the component window - but that didn't work either...

@@TheHornoxx i dont get it. if youre in the component in the model then what are you not able to do?

      @@johnjlopez Thanks J Lo
... it´s all about the procedure shown in the video to replace selected components placed in the model with others which I have to find in the component window, because there I have to click on the replacement component to trigger the option "replace selected".
My problem is only with the process of finding this desired replacement component in the component window. Since I often have such large models, finding the desired replacement component in the component window is a pain for me.
