The night city backgrounds, the camera work, the editing, and the presenter -- all perfectly suits the car.
One of the best videos I've seen. Epic.
Going to check one of these today.... My favorite Rolls! Thanks for the epic film!
Solomondrin and Carfection doing a review together would not only be fun, but truly a perfect clash between between the US (Mexico) and the UK.
4th Rolls in the house? 😆
Buy it!
Salomondrin ayyyyy
Salomondrin alejandrooo what are you doing ovaaaaaaaaa heeeeeeeere

Excellent photography!
Great story!
Exceptional car!
Beautiful car but those people shouldn't be looked up to. They were spineless rich brats that never worked for anything.
Caleb Michael I know people who have worked for everything they have and own a Wraith.
Anonymous I wasn't talking about them, I was talking about trust fund twerps
Caleb Michael | Right, sod the bright young things - just thrash that mother!
To that I can only say in reply, pyramid.
As always, lovingly shot, beautifully edited and presented with a delicacy that the BBC can only aspire to now. Well done chaps.
Whenever I look at the BBC nowadays it seems the only thing they are interested in is putting drug addicts on our screens.
How can you only have under 500k subs, your work is the by far the best out there in my opinion!
I've said it before but this chap should be on Top Gear.
Yes but they'd need to go back to reviewing more cars than the nonsense the show has turned into. I had hoped the Grand Tour would go back to the roots of car reviews but it just picked up from where that trio had left TG. I'm all for things like racing a sports car across Europe against other forms of transportation once in a blue moon but it should be about reviewing cars and there are always plenty of new models released every year and the shows are only like 6-10 episodes per season. Don't understand some people that say there won't be enough to review if it was just about car reviews.
Andrew Jenkinson Top gear have to go from being crazy to being Elegant to have this guy on board.
Same here.. I had actually commented about the same either somewhere on RUclips or Top Gear's own site that they should consider Harris Monkey and Alex.. Looks like they only read half of it..
This guy is good. Underrated.
What a cracking review old chap. The content, the filming and the history combined brilliantly... well done Alex. How many are in the team that put this video together ?
Thanks for the reply. Brilliant what you and your team can do. This video would put a lot of TV shows to shame... keep them coming please.
I love the fact that you don't just review cars... you first give us a little bit of history which is refreshing & informative.... keep it up 👍
Carfection just keeps on delivering quality captures of the actual driving experience. Almost as good as being there.
I drove a Ghost black badge yesterday. Oh the joys of doing fleet work for a living!
It was my first Rolls Royce......and, until I get to drive a Wraith, is the finest vehicle I've ever been in, touched, been near....or even seen.
Now I understand the Rolls Royce 'thing'. It's like nothing else I've ever experienced. Makes the i8 I drove down to the south coast look cheap......and the i8 is a bloody fantastic car that I've fallen a little bit in love with over the past few weeks!
Beautiful review! I learned a little bit about the bright young things too, never knew about that! Thanks!
Thumbs way up. By far the best channel on RUclips.
You're one of my favorite reviewers, Alex. This is a great video and I enjoyed all aspects of it very much. Thank you!
I really loved the story. It mixed so well in with the Black Badge. One of your best videos out there so far. Please keep your style - it works very well!
Outstanding video! I love my wraith! Im upgrading to the black Badge this year!
That's one of the most amazing car reviews I'v ever seen. Thank you.
i just love your reviews 👍🏼
Honestly one of my dream cars, looks beautiful
OK - i am calling it - this is the best car review of 2017 - Haraah
Incredible review again! Thanks!
one of the best reviews ive seen in recent days!
Legend has it that if you stand in the corner of london streets at night, you will see Carfection in a Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge.
Anything that looks even slightly like a Lancia Aurelia, is surely a good-looking car.
I was dying for you to make a video for the Black Badge =D
Thank you =)
Spectacularly shot review! Amazing car as well
I'm retiring in 3 years. I've promised myself one of these. Hoping there's a new model by then.
I can't wait till I order one
I can't believe I missed this video when it dropped. Yet another example of great automotive storytelling, Alex.
This is absolutely one of the most beautiful video i've ever seen on RUclips
5 star video. beautiful video . absolutely suits the car. thank you carfection :-)
Lovely video, it's great that u guys do so many films on RollsRoyce !
Perfection at its finest can be seen in your video as well, just like Rolls Royce👍🏻 such an incredible video of your channel I have ever seen. Million likes for this one video.
That's some brilliant storytelling. Loved the vid man!
The way this video or rather film is made! Wow! Holds up to the account name of "Carfection". Loved it! :)
Beautiful cinematography in the standing intro with that umbrella. Powerful silent outro too, though I wish the tracking movement was slower to fit the mood/sense of ending better.
What an amazing review .... breathtaking!
Brilliant as always!
That is not what average means. If the median age of RR customers is 40 then half would be younger. The average is not necessarily the midpoint of a frequency distribution. Otherwise, great video.
Hehe, as pedantic as it is, I thought the same thing while watching the video. That's how we can spot STEM guys (and girls) in the comments section :)
Great video nonetheless.
Oh yes, I was waiting for this. Introduction to statistics.
I believe he was assuming a "normal" distribution. Which might not be so far-fetched, they have sold lots of cars after all...
No that's how you spot textbook nerds who like to show off on the internet. There's a difference.
You must all be so much fun at parties.
i love the presenter , you'r so classy so gent , one of the best of all (may be the best ) that i'd ever seen , great *_* good continuation :)
great cinematography dude. keep em coming
This is a spectacular video guys, factual and shot fantastically!
i love people who love to do what they do because they are the ones who really make the difference.
I love this video, but partially because I used to work around Millbank (where he was drving) and it brough back memories. Great editing, and interesting history lesson too.
Wow now this is how you present this car. Excellent video.
Awesome video!
Great video and a very stunning car.
what camera did you use to film this?
One of the best car review ever... Thumbs up
Very nicely done and an breathtaking car.
Great review!
Excellent review!
Superb video!
pretty baller car n video.. loved the music
One of the most beautiful videos on RUclips
I just love Alex’s presentation of a car!
How brilliant and innovative... simply great. Both car and video.
Fantastic video.
brilliant video!
Brilliant and beautiful film guys. High water mark for the year
"Battered" "Knackered" "Off his face" I love all the ways that British people have to describe being totally and unrelentingly intoxicated.
pretty awesome, very precise and true about rolls Royce, tq bro..
Nicely done.
Excellent video, excellent car!
great video :D
My god , best car review , an amazing take on rolls
Superb! ☺
Brilliant video! Also an Autodromo watch on the wrist!
Great video, amazing quality production. Only befitting the world's most luxurious car brand.
props to the person who filmed this video
Fantastic film as always Gentlemen.
I usually have the attention span of a coked up fly, but this film was so well done it kept me entertained for the entire length of it. Great job!
Well done, great story
amazing film!!!
where are you driving ?
in the UK? where exactly?
That shot at 0:28. Oh man if that doesn't motivate you to go out there and become wealthy enough to be able to "Afford" this car...then you and I probably just have differing preferences and I can respect that like an adult.
Absolutely epic review! Very well done. I love the fact that you have highlighted the "British factor" in this car by going to London on purpose and driving the car into the centre of the city, which creates an absolutely elegant atmosphere that fits perfectly with the car.
Your black velvet jacket, the car wet by the rain as well, I loved everything!
Also I am quite surprised by how little traffic there is! What time was it? 03:00 in the morning? :)
Cheers from Italy! 👍🏼👍🏼
Seriously... best one yet
Bloody Brilliant
Is that your signet ring? Once again, great review!
Superb👌
Perfect person for a rolls royce review!!
What an incredible suit mate
this review is amzing !!. talent much
Best car review i ever seen
wonderful unique car and social film
I´ve always considered RR Wraith the best car money can buy.
Now, this Wraith Black Badge, more powerful and more aggressive looking... What can I say? I think no other car comes even close.
This is that sort of car that gives the desire of own it when you first see it. Superb!
Very cool car - RR with attitude
Whats with the silent bits at the end ?
I am deciding which roller will I get first the Phantom,Ghost or Wraith
it looks badass
👌this is what they meant when they called this genre automotive journalism. bravo my man.... great content 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 .
The Wraith BB is interesting, but it has several problems that hinder it from beating the Bentley and S-class coupe (AMG). 1. No paddle shifters. Luxury should equate to absolute control and convenience. One should not come at the expense of another, particularly not on a Rolls Royce. At least make the paddle shifters and tachometer optional (since, as standard, this car has a useless "power reserve" gauge). 2. RIDICULOUSLY Draconian speed limiter. Just go ahead and let it go 200mph+, or 186 (300KPH), at the very minimum. Everyone knows the car can do it. (This is based on the rumor that the Wraith supposedly has an AMAZING Cfd, or coefficient of drag, of just .29) Half the reason to buy a Bentley is to head to an air strip, the autobahn, or a top-speed contest where you can go absurdly fast in comfort whilst maintaining control and confidence. If you're going after that customer base, you're going to need the performance numbers to back it up.
And to those who will say, "oh, it's a Rolls and Rolls Royces aren't supposed to be used for that sort of thing," I would like to point out Rolls Royce's current commercial series (found right here on RUclips) which SPECIFICALLY highlights their racing/top speed history and the fact that Rolls Royce is now doing customer track days (both on banked ovals as well as F1 circuits). If they're going to reference it as a relevant part of their history, as well as make it an important part of their present focus, I am going to hold them to the standards set by their competitors.
No, actually. It's an arbitrary limit that came about as a result of a "gentlemen's agreement" that was imposed and respected by *some* German automobile manufactures (as well as some Japanese Superbike manufactures). The 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports, which is essentially a VW Phaeton with two less doors, two turbos, and a ZF 8-speed, can reach 209MPH from the factory and it is a VW/Audi Group product. Even Mercedes has had to increase the top speed of the S65 AMG coupe to 186MPH in order to keep up (who normally adhere to the 155MPH limit with religious devotion). Yet BMW, who has a history of producing 200+MPH sedans (see E60 M5), will not bother to lift the governor on the Wraith BB EVEN THOUGH they JUST offered to loosen the M6's restrictor to 189MPH with the M Driver's package. So, no, there is no logical argument for the limiter. If customers break the law and wind up killing themselves, that is their fault.
The E60 M5 was limited as well, to 155mph. BMW has never built a car that could go over 200mph from the factory without any sort of modification done. The only cars with a BMW badge that can go over 200mph and are sold by BMW as BMWs are the BMW Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo and the BMW Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo Edition 50, but they are built by Alpina.
Hmmmm, your statement seems to compare unfavorably with Matt Farah's claim that he has "personally gone over 200MPH in a stock E60 M5 in Germany" which he claimed on one of his Smoking Tire One Takes a little while ago. Matt is not known for fibbing, and I see no reason as to why he'd lie, but I'll accept it as a possibility. Though, you're definitely right everywhere else. 200MPH is a barrier that BMW just doesn't seem comfortable with cracking, regardless if it's an M product or not.
Because the M5 only had the speed limiter delete with a stock power train, so it's "stock" but not really. 200mph is way too much for any sort of public road, i understand that they limit their cars. Even if the M5 30 Jahre and the M6 Competition LCI (as well as the new M760i) can indeed go over that mark, it's safer not to do so.
Of course not. Realistically, though, it's not "safe" to pilot any automobile. You're far more likely to die in a car accident than a stabbing, shooting, or bombing (at least in Western, 1st world countries). And yet, we do it anyway, despite how dangerous it might be, because it is a cherished freedom. No one biologically NEEDS a Rolls Royce or a car that can exceed 200MPH. We WANT them. And, so long as there is not an epidemic of high-speed accidents, rampant speeding, or an operational threat to these vehicles, we shouldn't put speed governors on cars. That goes for manufactures and governments.
what's up with the purple blueish headlights. they look badass
Could you park it at Tescos on a Saturday morning?
Black Badge might be the perfect Rolls for me.
It's amazing how good looking these VW Passats have got these days.
drnh4444 rolls is owned by BMW.
