If I had a lot of money, I'd have nice cars. I wouldn't own them for any other reasons apart from the facts that I enjoy them, I like them, and I enjoy driving them. Sure it's a nice feeling when people look at you as you go past, but that's not why I'd own them.
Rolls Royce is one of those things that’s lucratively expensive but the price is at least decently in part due to manufacturers putting so much quality, customization, and attention to detail crafting something specially for the buyer. This is better than just gimmick things like the worlds most expensive foods, modern art, handbag, ext.
This is more than true, this sort of car is by in large, built to be experienced. It is in a way, an art form to make such a car. Not only is it painstakingly crafted to look as good as possible to the buyer, it is built to feel as good as it looks. Comfortable, both to drive and ride in. Durable, a long lasting product so that you may sing its praises for ages, ergo earned marketing instead of owned or paid for (a brilliant strategy). Powerful, it commands respect in its pose, but can also get up and go if one so desired, you need only request and it is so. And Beautiful, so that it may be radiant to you, but also to others. This takes an absurd amount of skill, craftwork, careful selection of materials, international luxury items trade (just to obtain the materials, as special woods, leathers, or other interior options), and specialized engineering to make it the smoothest ride possible while upholding a reasonable threshold of performance.
I hang around a ton of Car guys, and I know from experience how hard it is to make such a level of quality. My father did it for a special show car job, and needless to say, he spent tons of time on the little details to bring together a stunning design. With all that work, effort, and quality pumped into it, it is well worth the price, and I would call it an excellent purchase (should you be able to afford it). Personally I love them, though i’ve never experienced them, so perhaps my perspective is skewed, but still well put.

I dont really fancy owning a Rolls but the attention to detail and the quality of the craftsmanship really gets me here.
What is ironic, I saved all my life for my old age and I could actually buy one if I really wanted. The problem is that I don't know how long I am going to live! I never want to become a burden to others, so I suppose Rolls-Royce will have to go on without me. Too bad. I love the craftsmanship, tradition, history and the drive for close to perfection!
