This lovely apartment is fabulous! My favorites was the to die for kitchen and the multi colored draperies in the bedroom. However, the main focal point for me was Dan's amazing electric blue jacket! A wonderful piece of clothing! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.
Thank you for watching.
“Coordinating with our dog Troy” - priceless!
It's cozy, gorgeous light, chic., in a great new york neighborhood. What more could you want. Wall color in bedroom is fab.
The shell sink is amazing!!
Definitely the bathroom is my favorite.
The dog is beautiful
🤩 WOW!!! never seen a kitchen like his 😍
After watching several tours where l was shown the cutlery, the toothpaste and brushes, the contents of the fridge without an item of decor anywhere to be seen, this is the perfect antidote. Here we have color, abundant, attractively arranged art and interesting items with a history. The eyes can stop anywhere and not be disappointed. I am going to watch this again. Thank you for presenting this beautiful dwelling.
Nothing better than a Standard Poodle! Troy is a stunner!🐾🐾🖤
Love the eclectic style, there is nothing better when pieces have a story, and getting such a bight Apartment in NYC is super lucky.
Definitely! And thank you.
Lovely. Thanks for sharing.

Great collection, including your gorgeous Standard Poodle. I had one many years ago and he was the love of my life. So intelligent, funny and just so handsome. Greetings from England 😅😊

you aced it: first impression the foyer is enchanting...... the kitchen, I'm speechless well done gentlemen 🏆
I don’t have words to describe this marvelous apartment, I born in a very poor home with dirt floors which my mother thought us to gather branches and make a broom out of it and to sweep the dirt and sprinkle water to keep dust down, I enjoyed to see this spectacular work of art.
Love love love it 😍😍😍
Oh, that poodle collection! Great pedigrees... education and furniture. Thank you for the fascinating peek.
So many treasures all beautifully assembled.
What a gorgeous apartment, designed by beautiful spirits. The light makes the colors even more stunning. Evidence of lives well lived. I am smiling.
Small yet sumptuous and classy
A man with style! I love everything about this. So cozy. Love the bookcases in the bedroom.
Their kitchen ! 💙
Oh so lovely. Thank you for time. Beautiful.
Great apartment! My favorites were the kitchen and the bathroom. I love the giant shell sink
WOW! What a beautiful apartment and home. There was so much to see and explore, I feel like we could have spent an hour+ in this video. So many beautiful objet d'art!
Very very nice
Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
Love it!
What I liked most of all were the paintings. His studio study is beautiful. I spent four years in Ithaca, but I am much older.
That was so wonderful! Especially I love Dan’s storytelling about each objects in these rooms…! ❤
Thank you . your home is just beautiful.
You have a beautiful home - thnak you for sharing the stories behind the pieces that make it so interesting
Lots of treasures
Cela frôle le trop précieux mais par une espèce de miracle cela reste parfaitement équilibré et un espace de vie agréable mais très délicat 😊
Simply enchanting sir, thank you for sharing.
This is beautiful ❤️😍
С первых минут просмотра- особенный, восхитительный дом!!
I can't breathe. After I look at this video 20x, perhaps I'll settle on my favorites. Right now it's all just stunning and wonderful. So elegantly done and joyful. Thank you for sharing this treasure. That jacket is awesome.
Love the color, texture, and bold personality
Stunning! Every inch thoughtfully designed and appointed. As a Californian I am proud how many of your prized possessions come from here. I always think we have the last of the last compared to the East Coast, but you discovered treasures here and I’m glad!
Love, love, love the crucifix over the bed.I sleep with my rosary. it's the demons you can't see you worry about. I think your dinning room chandelier is Bacarat. Beautiful. The best.👑⚜️✝️
Love the mix…the first time I’ve seen my lamps that I love, know they are antique or vintage, but in 20 years this is the first time I’ve seen another pair……
So Special, so beautiful Home!🌻🧡💚💛😊💐🌻🌷🌺🏵️🌹🍀💖❤️💮
Much Love from South of France ☀️
Merci!
Beautiful house 🎉🎉 love from 🇯🇵
Stunning
Gorgeous house.
❤turtles as wall art🥰❤️
beautiful apartment!
Beautiful! Well done!! Love all the textiles.
the rug is icing on top, pulling all things together and making them coherent. its easy to design a Japandi room with furniture in the same color scheme but it needs a master to collate all the colors in the room in a harmonious way
Fabulous!
Beautiful space!❤
The kitchen is marvelous, and the rest of the apt fun and interesting. However, the skull and two tortoises are to me more than a bit repulsive.
So...of course... you're a vegetarian.
The skull is disturbing, to say the least.
Somebody didn't go to medschool...
But yes, I could never live with trophies of endangered species like that, even though I understand their significance is sentimental rather than anything. The skull wouldn't bother me. People donate their remains for medschool, artschool and research, it's not scavenged nor an endagered species hunting trophy.
😳 It was her name that immediately struck me... a random skull is _whatever,_ but knowing the *name* of the person within whom the skull originally resided is incredibly disturbing, indeed! 🤮⛔🙅🏻♀️⛔☠️⛔‼️
The turtles were so upsetting and distracting from anything nice. Hated them.
Beautiful ♥️ Eclecticism at its best 🌟
Beautiful!
Completely thought those were bolts of fabric in the bedroom. Gorgeous
Beautiful space!!! Very inspirational
Very beautiful home.
Magnificent
love it beautiful decorating.
This was fun what a delightful man💙
Beautiful ❤.
You must be a couple with chic vibes!😘
That jacket needs it's own show 🤩
Love the colour palate would kill to have a bathroom like your kitchen so intimate and pure luxury
Absolutely lovely! Thanks for sharing!
What a home! So inviting and absolutely beautiful 💕
A good example of how eclecticism can be made to work.
Absolutely amazing! A maximalist dream ❤
謝謝~♡♡♡♡❤
I agree stunning home except for the turtles!
And the skull.
@@copperpenny0209 I don't think its okay to display a human skull its disrespectful people shouldn't be displayed like art. Also don't like the crucifix above the bed unless you are respecting what that represents its making a mockery of God.
I love love your design of house and garden.
Does heaven look like this???❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
L’ antre du rafinement😊
Anyone else getting Only Murderers in the Building vibes, especially with that curved entryway?
💕🏠💕
Fabulous!!! The mix of cultures and colors is pulled together so wonderfully here.
Having a space filled with what you love and a story makes it home. I could spend hours here listening to the story of each piece.
Thank you for sharing your home.
The cameraman at 10:02 is soo cute😍
Utterly delicious...
Les tortues c’ est un peu dommage mais comme c est aussi un souvenir indirect à son grand père..? … 😊
The chandelier in the foyer where are the bulbs from? They are gorgeous. I heard restored by a showroom in NY but didnt catch the name. Thank you. Beautiful home gentlemen!

I love New York. I had a beautiful affair with a doctor who lived in that building when I was in college. The placement of the building makes for the most iconic view straight down 8th avenue. 😌😘 Oh I love being gay. Such amazing style and appreciation for art, design, history and culture.
3:41 - Pause it - is that a photo of him in drag? 😂
so perceptive
The dog 🐕 looks 😂aged❤too
Fabulous.... nothing is pretentious. Love it
Oh nice.. what happened to the four square house tour?

Love the vibe but I’d like a bit less “story for every item” and more full views of the space. Great style.
Noted!
I find the stories interesting...they breathe life into them. Reminds me of friends I once had with a beautiful townhome in Mt. Vernon, Baltimore.
I can’t believe that a man of a certain age who one asumes has received a certain kind of education as to being able to be hired by a firm as important as RAMSA would say that that is a Louis XV desk when it is obviously a 1940’s interpretation of a Neoclassical design.
I appreciate the personal stories and memories behind the furniture and objects. Maximalist interiors embrace sentimentality and a blend of styles.
However not everything should be included.
A dark kitchen doesn't make sense in practicality and everyday function.
In the living room, the rug ties in all the colours but the space feels too jarring for relaxation. It isn't the range of colours but too many objects in the space competing for attention and not enough circulation between pieces.
The only spaces that make visual sense are the library-bedroom and bathroom.
The porcelain tiles and window of the bathroom are the WOW factors.
Pretty apartment but the huge hanging turtles are off-putting to me.
Two turtles cad- avérés
Cluttered
Sad ...dead turtles used as decor
Beautiful apartment but, Christ over your bed😢
That's very common in southern Italy where I believe the figure was purchased.
That’s VERY common in some european countries... idk what’s so ‘sad’ about it...
Oh, please 🙄. Clearly it’s not a religious affront to him…and it’s his home. Not yours.
@@Person-mh6xq Thank you!
@@Person-mh6xq Displaying a crucifix over a bed when you don't respect what that represents is an insult to God.
It doesn't get much gayer than this!!!
I think those sea turtles are disgusting.
Overdone and cluttered for my taste.
So cluttered no thanks
