- Interior designer Garrow Kedigian lives in one of the most exclusive buildings in all of New York City and what makes it even more special is that it's attached to The Carlyle Hotel by a secret door and has direct access to Bemelman’s Bar!! With his magic touch, Kedigian took a plain white box apartment and turned it into a colorful sanctuary filled with antiques from Paris.

Gorgeous apartment. I have never seen an interior designer talking to us like a friend that we have come to visit while showing us his home. He and his apartment are simply wonderful. Thank you for inviting us over.

I love this guy and this space.
I love how honest he is about all his tips and tricks. Like how he asks a museum for a high resolution image of a painting and then has it printed on canvas. Here I was thinking that he must have spent thousands on a beautiful painting and actually, he probably spent less that $100.00. Or how he uses his shower for storage; finally an honest home tour. It’s a beautiful home.
Those canvas prints cost more than $100 but certainly not several thousands.

If you go on line you will be surprised at how many fine paintings can be puchased already transferred to canvas and often also framed. We did this for our Palm Beach home...I think the cost of our favorite was about $200-

The designer is very charming and his home is charming too. I love that he decorated the elevator lobby at no cost to his neighbors.
This has been the most enjoyable tour so far and Garrow Kedigian has been really helpful with all his ideas and he is very down to earth when presenting them which I can't say for every presenter 🙂. If he has another home somewhere I hope you do a segment on it as well.

He did a great chalkboard room with Rajiv Surrenda; and he had an apartment in Canada that has been featured. He also did chalkboard room in that Canadian apartment

OMG to the Infinite Power, this dude is a GENIUS! Would love to see some of the other interiors he's done. Rich, dramatic and traditional, yet without clutter, and as lush and classically elegant as his rooms are, they are also inviting and colorful. Best work I've seen since Timiothy Corrigan. I've seen this tour several times over. I love Garrow Kedigian's style. The Cabinetry in the orange library is stunning. What are those brass face embelishments on the cabinets? How did you come about designing the library? what did you take into consideration? I love the bookshelf styling! How do you decide how to organize the books and objects on the shelves. Please Garrow Kedigian we need a complete video discussing your library and the design decisions that were taken to reach the superb "work of art" result.

Good for him! I love how he really appreciates what he has! I used to work for a floral designer who did all the flowers for the Carlyle and so had the pleasure of seeing one of the rooms (or was it an apartment--I don't remember) that looked over Central Park. Just amazing! I also saw the Dalai Lama when he arrived there for his stay in NYC. A magical moment. Love the Bemelmans Bar and its beautiful illustrated walls...I am a big Madeline fan.

That's one of the best high lacquer painted rooms I've ever seen. Flawless apartment.
Lacquer is the most difficult method to get it right. The prep itself is arduous and the base surface has to be perfect or every single flaw will show . Of course, he must know all the right craftsmen.

When you graciously led us through that glorious yellow living room, it was interesting to note that a yellow (antique, I think) bathtub was being craned up just outside the window. Clever. You designers are extraordinarily creative! The lengths through which we will go for colour coordination!😎👍

I have found my soulmate decorator. everything you did in this lovely apartment i also do. the colors - the orange paint wow - and the mustard color, the books, the iconic paintings, and the draped bed. I do that too in my condo. I take fake persian rugs outside and pour hot strong tea over them and work them a little as they are drying. makes them look antique! french doors a must have! I love the apt. great job.

WOW! I am not on Instagram but now I am going to have to join specifically to follow Garrow Kedigian. Absolutely fantastic eye, very very clever ( and sometimes very inexpensive solutions) with decor. I will be referencing Garrow going forward. One element I would have done differently is place mirror instead of brass as the kitchen backsplash. This video and the introduction to Garrow has made my week! Thank you so much!

We adored your glorious touches for example, the sheet brass in the kitchen, cos we don't like 'grouted' tiles above the kitchen counters.... the mirror tucked into the sides of the balcony exit to create expansion....
