You’re doing just fine with the videos. Do you put wire loom around the wires you run in the top of the cab? As always very informative. Thank You.

Thank you! No I just left them how the factory had them. I used factory wiring there.

Cool i like the Dakota digital gauges for the bumpside Ford truck, and the 68-69 metal gauge bezel is probably my favorite version of it and very similar to 67 i now except they are all painted white.....

Im glad you kept the 71 metal dash and the bumpside Ford truck steering wheel ive seen several of those swaps with the Godzilla and power stroke and the coyote powerplant and they usually get the newer dash and steering column and wheel yuck,, definitely not something id do myself i love the dash in these trucks and the steering wheel..

I’m honored Matt, you used my picture of the Fat Fender Garage pedal plate you pulled from Bring A Trailer :-)). That was my 71 Special truck I sold. I miss that truck. I agree though, Fat Fender charges a pretty penny for some of their stuff. Luckily I had purchased three of those plates at the same time before they raised the prices. Your Ultimate Crewcab is coming along and I am most excited about that project. Very nice, keep up the great work.

Thanks, nice to see your progress. I guess when making changes it may be better to mockup as much as possible before painting and installing items... to prevent working around painted finished surfaces and mistakes. Nice work!

Thanks!! It’s not that nice. I’m trying hard to make it nice where it counts and not worry about other details as much.

Looking good! My 78 has the same wiring harness in it. I linking it in with a 12 valve. It is a nice kit. I'm working on it slowly. There is a lot to add and change with the 12 valve. I have the same set up as you with the gages and the AC. I'm still scratching my head on some of it, but getting closer.

It’s a lot to chew on when you try to shove it all in your mouth at once that’s for sure.

Is there a preferred company or site you like for seat and interior upholstery?

Hey matt sir what is your mechanic tool set/crash kit my truck currently has a 74 pc shallow and deep well sae and metric complete socket set including the breaker bar in the lid by tekton and I have a complete set of the mid size sae and metric tekton combination wrench sets, and the mechanics tool socket set i currently have to keep it in the truck is a husky brand 194pc h194mts,it is decent maybe not the preferred one but it will work fine, and probably a 32pc Pittsburgh combination sae and metric and stubby wrench sets that is because im thinking about keeping all of the tekton tools in my garage Kennedy mechanic tool box....
