Thank you for being my friend. I found you when I needed you the most, and you helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life, you helped me answer so many questions when it came to my faith, ane re-establishing my relationship with God... and you got to see me find true happiness. Road brothers for life! You AND Grandma Rose will always hold a very special place in my heart...and if possible...let me know somehow that you made it to where your shutting it down for your reset...whether it be a tap on the shoulder, or even a swift kick in the ass! And if ya can, give my Mother a hug for me! Save me a seat at the counter my brother. I Love you ❤️

I was looking through youtube (as i do every night til this day) approx 5 yrs ago and stumbled upon papa joe and i started watching some of his videos and thought this was a channel i could get into as ive always enjoyed the aspects of trucking, but due to my disability never would get a chance to do. After watching a few videos i decided to comment and i guess my comment wasnt appreciated cause i got a "no sugar added" comment and thought "oh ok, well maybe i wont watch this channel, cause he already dont like me"...I decided to continue watching and boy am i glad i did. Even tho our first encounter wasnt a great one, the friendship and brotherhood that has developed over the yrs has been absolutely awesome. I would not trade 1 second of it for anything in this world. The countless hrs we have spent talking, the joking back and forth, the laughs we have shared, the meetings we have had, has all been some of my most memorable moments in life that i will cherish for the rest of my life. Anytime I was down and there has been several times especially in the last few months. I knew i could call papa joe and you would pick me right back up and advise me of other ways of looking at things. I never imagined one comment would create such a great friendship, not just a friendship, but a family bond, cause papa joe is considered my family. I could be here for 3 days writing what you mean to me and it still wouldnt be enough time to express it all. I will def miss it all. Never doubt and forget I love you brother. Sincerely JJ

Papa Joe, I have to tell you and your kin: I watched so many of your videos over the past 6 years and your experience in trucking helped me during my trucking journey. You helped me learn the details and tricks about trucking that no one else gave a damn to share, but you did. Thank you for your stories, thank you for your experiences, and thank you for sharing your life with us. We'll see you down the road.

You had so much good advice and insight and made things make sense. But…my favorites was joining you for Sunday service. You will be remembered constantly while we are on the road and through your recipes and anytime I see a shining star. That’s what you are. I extend my condolences to Grandma, Little Joe and the rest of your family. Sending all our love your way and know that there’s only good after this life. Watch over us while we are out here and know you made a huge, positive impact in our lives. 💚💚💚💋🙏🙏🙏

I'm really gonna miss you Papa Joe. I can't even begin to describe how much i learned from you about trucking and God and cooking and just about life in general. I'm so grateful and honored to have known you and grandma Rose and I'm so thankful for all that you taught me and all of the countless hours we spent on the phone while we were both out there chasing miles and cussing 4 wheelers.
You were a great mentor to me and the amount i learned from you always made me feel like i was taught by the best of the best. You were my mentor and a father figure and one of the best friends the good Lord ever blessed me with and as much as it hurts me to say goodbye, i know that you're going to be in a place where the only roads you will travel are paved in Gold. So for me to want to keep you here is selfish.
So goodbye to you my old friend. I'll never forget the things you taught me or the time i stayed at your house and was baptized in your pond and all of the great food you filled me up with and all the love you guys showed me. You'll live on in my heart and memories until i see you again with our father Jesus Christ. God bless you Papa Joe and grandma Rose and all of your family. You're all in my prayers. 🙏

    Dad,
I love you more than i could ever tell you and will forever miss you. After Nate's passing, we began this channel together, a legacy that I will proudly share with the kids as they grow older. It will serve as a No-Sugar-Added reminder of their Papa Joe, especially for Amber, who's only 3 now. I promise to keep our promis and your channel alive, continuing to add videos as the kids grow and as I embark on new journeys after completing my Ph.D. Please know that my love for you is boundless, and though you may ascend to heaven, you will always hold a special place in my heart alongside Nate and the friends I lost in the military.
I am endlessly grateful for the relationship we've shared and only wish I could have done more to get you out of that truck sooner so you could enjoy a retirement you dreamed of and been able to relax after many years of supporting us. My love for you is eternal, Dad. There will never be another Papa Joe, and in honor of your memory, I've decided to adopt the title Dr. Joe on RUclips, as I could never assume the mantle of Papa Joe, but I hope to carry on your legacy and channel in my own way.
With all my love, now and forever.
    Your Son
    Little Joe.

HI Joe... We spent a lot of time chatting during your lives... In the far past l suggested you to stop smoking. I did it many times... But you didn't budge... Now l am the one who are struggling with excessive smoking... So my heart is in pain. So now rewatching you is motivating me to stop doing that. Thanks for the beautiful nights you share with us, talking about life, politics, religions. Sharing with us the best advise ever. You'll stay in my heart forever.

God bless you, brother. We’ll take it from here. Thank you for everything. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. And with the way the world is going, we’ll all be gttg called home soon. Godspeed. If you get up there before me, tell my dad I miss him. I appreciate how you helped me and dad out when we were struggling at Volunteer. Driving that 79 cab over in Florida w no ac in the summer! Ha! Good times. That thing got about 3mpg! But it would run a hundred miles an hour! Not like the governed, aero cabs everybody has now w cameras, and collision avoidance and such. We would run two paper log books, and we still would use paper maps… kids today just have no idea.
