MY CERVICAL CANCER STORY | my normal cells, symptoms of cervical cancer and diagnosis (stage 2B)

  • Hi lovelies
Firstly, if you’ve taken time out of your day to watch and listen to my story, thank you so much.
Opening up about personal things isn’t something I’m good at but having experienced cervical cancer, I like to tell people what I’ve been through, in the hope that it might inspire women to attend their smear test and learn the signs and symptom of cervical cancer.
When you’re armed with knowledge about these things, you’re giving yourself the best possible chance of making sure you never have to through it yourself.
In the UK, we are very lucky to be given the opportunity to prevent cervical cancer in most cases. It’s a privilege and we should all see it that way.
I attended my smear test and had normal results but due to my type of cancer being aggressive, my cells changed and developed into stage 2B cervical cancer within 14 months.
The statistics of women not attending their smear tests are way too low. Please use what you’ve seen in my video as encouragement to book your smear test if it’s overdue, to book an appointment with your GP if something’s happening to your body which isn’t normal for you and to share the message with your friends and family.
Life is hectic and making time for yourself isn’t always easy but please make your health a priority and put booking your smear test at the top of your to-do list, where it should be!!

I was 25 years when I found out I needed a biopsy after a Pap test showed abnormal cells, result..cervical cancer stage 3. Now 10 years later I’m struggling with late effects of cancer treatments such us vaginal scars, dryness, abdominal crucial pains, osteoporosis, early menopause, constipation, fatigue and much more. I’m a healthy woman but after 10years of cancer(now age of 35) ..I’m grateful to be alive , just this such late sides effects of cancer treatments were so unexpected like a reminder “hello remember me..Cancer” prayers to all you women out there

Yeah my bosses wife had colorectal cancer and from the radiation she ended up getting vaginal cancer and needs a hip replacement and a really young age. They need to find a better treatment for cancer because chemo and radiation comes with too much boomerang effects. My father in laws heart was destroyed by chemo and his kidney function ruined from radiation- the cancer came back and they said they can’t give him anymore chemo and radiation because it will do him in at this point. When the treatment can cause your demise that’s unacceptable.

Thanks for sharing this story. I just had an appointment today for a lump I felt on my cervix. Turns out it is a nabothian cyst. But I didn’t appreciate the way the doctor made me feel like I was overreacting. The reason I made the appointment is because of the people like you who speak out which I am thankful for. We have to advocate for ourselves because I don’t believe doctors do it enough.

Wow, what an amazingly strong, honest, and well articulated lady you are! I pray all is well with you. I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in Oct 22, Stage 3 and it's been my purpose to educate women on the subtle symptoms. Ovarian cancer is not caused by a virus (like cervical cancer is) and it can not be detected by a pap smear. At this time there are no simple diagnostic screenings for ovarian cancer other than a blood test called CA125. The CA125 test can pick up certain types of cancers in the blood. My only 2 symptoms were frequent urination and constipation, ladies please pay attention to your bodies, don't dismiss symptoms that persist. Demand a CA125 test-we have to be our own patient advocate sometimes.

This is so crazy, thank you for sharing this! I’ve had stool consistency changes since July 2022 and now almost a year later and having a clear colonoscopy I just got an abnormal pap and I thought that maybe it could be something in my reproductive organs impeding on my colon. Now thanks to you I at least know how to order a test to find out!

This was what happened to me! AND FYI, I TOOK THE TURKEY TAIL WHILE BREASTFEEDING
copying my reply for another post. My goal is to prevent others from having to go through cryo, leep, and cone biopsies.
I personally took Host Defense brand powder of Turkey Tail Mushrooms, both my husband and I at 4 grams for 6 months (I continued for a year), we did not have intercourse for 3 months while we supplemented in case it was possible to reinfect each other (no one said it could, we just took that extra step). I'm proud to say 7 years later we continue to test negative for all HPV strands and NO abnormal paps! I came for my checkup, doc said there was some dysplasia and he setup a biopsy. I just happened to learn about a study on AHCC mushroom extract (extract of shiitaki) being used in a study in Texas on effects from HPV cervical cancer. The cost of that supplement was way overpriced due to the study and since Turkey Tail is in the same basidiomycetes family, I took my chances. Praise God, it worked! My doctor had nothing to biopsy and continued to test me for HPV every 3 month, then 6 month, then yearly. He was so confused because he said HPV doesn't just disappear like that. Look into it. It's literally like 20 bucks. It is tasteless, side effect less, and even his own mother took it alongside chemo in breast cancer treatment at 90 years old.
While I don't know if the FDA has approved its use, the results from Texas studies showed positive results.
I want to say to check out Turkey Tail or AHCC with PUBMED, NIH.GOV for their studies. It is good for breast, ovarian, uterine,, colon, etc. Also, you may want to look into iodide/iodine, but just remember the virus is in the body, the bloodstream, some viruses like Herpes gets trapped in the spinal fluid. So, while you can continue to cut and remove things from your body, it will not remove the virus and it will begin attaching to another area, lungs, breast, etc. It is best to address and eliminate the virus. Turkey tail and AHCC has been shown to do this to HPV. Please do some research. It was an active study that was going on when I was facing these things and I literally experimented on myself.

I had a Pap in August 2022 and was told that the results were negative. 2 months later I was told I had stage 2 cervical cancer! Paps don't always pick up abnormal cells especially if the cancer is deep in the uterus! So just be aware that it's tricky to pick up ladies. I'm still healing from a total hysterectomy and just waiting on for my first consultation with Radiology.

I feel you need to know that YOU are the sole reason I woke up this morning and made an urgent appointment for a PAP. They got me in at 1pm today based on my symptoms.
I’ve watched a million of these kinds of videos but YOU have a way about you. I can’t put my finger on it but you spoke to me. I had a PAP 13 months ago. It was fine. I’ve had an abnormal in the past but got cleared after a colposcopy and follow ups.
I’m 37, married with 2 natural children and 2 step kids as well as 2 grandchildren.
Within 6 months I went from normal (have a ton of separate medical issues but not related ) to totally terrified and so Poorly. Bleeding after sex and getting worse. Bloating, gained 20 pounds since a checkup 3 weeks ago. Pelvic pain, sex pain, ect ect ect. I could be writing all night. I broke down hearing your story. I can’t imagine. I’m done having kids. Tubes are tied. However, I don’t want to die. I have kids I NEED to see grow up and be there for. My dad just went into remission with recital stage 3. So I’m scared. Not sure if it’s cervical, ovarian(recently had a dermoid cyst (not the good kind but had follow up and they didn’t seem concerned).
One positive is that my doc did not SEE anything while doing the pap except for the first time ever there was a ton of blood. I couldn’t believe it and her face was telling. Results in a few days. Blood works tomorrow comes in, and I had an abdominal and pelvic X-ray (not sure this can show a ton). She wants to rule out constipation. As if people bleed from the vagina because they are full of shit. Ugh. I have soooo many other stuff going on and should have went a long time ago but kept putting it off.
YOUUUUUUU convinced me somehow. I’m stubborn so it’s a big deal for me and felt you needed to know. I have no answers and if things turn out fine I will be elated but puzzled. Either way, if you effect me in this way than I know your story is going to help sooooo many women. I will be following and keep it up!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Oh my God i feel your pain😪In October this year (2022) i was diagnosed with cervical cancer 1B2. My symptoms were very different than yours, i only had spotting in between my periods and they became shorter . The obgyn found a polyp, he removed it and sent it to the lab. The result came back as cancer. I was devasteted, i am only 41 years old. In my case the doctor did a blood work, he send me to do a PET/CT scan to see if my cancer spread ( thank Good it did not😚) and now on November 30th i am going for histerectomy surgery. Ladies, watch out for any bleeding desides your period, any unusual discharge with an faul odor or bleeding after sex! Those are the dangerous signs. I wish everybody good health!

Hi there, I’m 22 & have been getting a lot of symptoms - bleeding after sex, leaky yellow discharge constantly (no smell) bleeding from my cervix when I had swabs aswell as discharge at the same time, heavier and longer periods over the last 4 months & pain during sex too.
I have a colposcopy booked to investigate the reasons for all of my symptoms as when swabs come back there was no infection etc.
I’m actually quite anxious about it as I have 2 young children & have been suffering for about a year or so with these symptoms & never checked for anything till now cause I’m ‘not eligible for a smear test’ due to me not being old enough.
However Your story is really helpful & fingers crossed it’s a good outcome ❤️ I hope your doing good now after everything you’ve been though ❤️

Hello lovely, first thing i noticed about your story is that i find it weird that in the first smear pap result, nobody told you if you had hpv and if you did, you had to come back 6 months later. Hpv is the cause of cervical cancer( in almost all cases) especially when you are young. So even if a woman is young and the pap smeat test is not showing abnormal cells, I strongly advice woman to keep asking for smear tests and also hpv tests every 6 months. If hpv is cleared up by the imuunsystem you can be safe, but if hpv is still there any woman should be very cautions and have regular checks. So thats weird, that you didnt know if you had hpv. Cause if someone tells a woman they have hpv, never wait but ask for more pap smear tests, its hpv that irritates and can change the cells of the cervix. The sharp pain you desribe is much more likely ovulationpain instead of cervical pain. Ovulationpain can occur every month and can be sharp and painfull for some hours or 24 hours, also can feel like dull persistent pain on one side of the ovaries, right or left, depening on wich side the egg is being released. Hope you are much better now and so glad you went to the docter by yourself! It saved your life!

@@babblingbythebrook pap smear test and HPV test are two different tests. A Pap smear can’t detect STIs. To test for infections like chlamydia or gonorrhea, your healthcare provider takes a swab from your cervix. Blood tests can also identify certain STIs.
HPV tests check for certain types of the virus that increase your cervical cancer risk. HPV is a common STI that affects approximately 79 million Americans. There are many different types of HPV. Not all cause cancer.
That same pap test/collection/smear they got from you that day is used for the HVP test too.

could you answer a question for me? single mom of 4, no family, scared to death. told during pap smear that i have lesions on my cervix. and that my cervix is “friable”. however the pap i took that day came back normal. i was scheduled to get an ultrasound but it was 2 hrs away and i had no way with my car broke down and kids. do you know what lesions means and what friable means? are those terms you have heard? thank u for sharing your story 🙏

In your view, would a 48 hour out patient appointment and commencement of investigations and biopsy by 72 hours be the goal, given how aggressive cervical cancer can be? Acute appendicitis is admitted the same day, yet I was told that if the patient was at sea, they were placed on antibiotics until the ship docked. They were then admitted to the local hospital. Should aggressive cancers be prioritized to a greater extent than they are? I am sure our MPs are only too willing to help.

Hi Emma thanks so much for watching. I couldn’t find many stories from people in the uk either. A lot of people have asked for more details about it. It was watery, mostly clear but brownish aswell xx definitely not yellow. Don’t apologise for asking honestly I’m happy to answer any questions. Have you. Been to see your doctor about your symptoms? X

Hi Emma Hartley, I hope you are doing well, and I hope you are healthy, I will pray for you, I had a terrible illness in my life so I know what it is like to live with one, but Jesus gave me a miracle and healed me, and He healed many others also, He can do the same for you, He loves you, call on Him, ask Him into your heart to be your personal Lord and Saviour, and He will change your life for the better and give you peace, God bless
