I know the cape is just plastic and glued on the figure, I still say it works for this awesome classic Doctor Strange in my opinion, But sometimes a customized cape will work great as well. Also Hasbro will never do a more awesome Doctor Strange as this ever again because it is awesome.
This is a huge upgrade! I also really like that you can go back to the original plastic cape too. Unrelated question. Is there any way to mod the torso crunch to get more ramge? That seems to be the only remaining downside to the figure now
I just got mine, bought it and thought the cape was removable, I was a little disappointed knowing that it wasn't so I'm seriously considering doing this mods although I like my figures with just minor modifications. This looks just too good, almost like an imported figure! :D
You could, though personally it feels odd to have a plastic shirt on his torso but transitions into a fabric skirt. I made a second slit in the skirt on his right side to improve articulation already. You can see that small mod in my original review ruclips.net/video/oM7ohwHRgFo/видео.html
I can’t wait to receive my cape from one12 props. I’ve been waiting for almost two months lol Does anybody have experience with ordering from one12 props?
I still have some of the red plastic from the cape stuck on my figure. Any tips on how to remove it? I this they used a lot of glue or something for the cape
So you get the 2 5 mm magnets for the eye. Was the one put into the plastic also included or just yours you had already? I just wanted to be 100% sure. If it was yours were would I find 5 mm magnets such as those bc I want to have the plastic cape option if anything should happen w/the fabric.
@@xcorpeo I ordered and asked for the extra. I hope he throws it in there 😅. Great price for the option of keeping the original plastic cape and being able to pose without a cape too! Beats the few other capes I’ve seen based on the no cape option and the colors. Thanks for your video on everything from install to the link to buy. New subscriber.
I don't. I use a generic wired rotary tool from this brand Wen. If you're just starting out and don't mind lower speed and more control, u can look for the battery powered types
I'm trying to separate the torso from the legs but it feels hard to do it,i've read comments that just pulling should work but i'm afraid to break it,is it safe just pulling?? Just got mine yesterday haha
Bro, who wants to do all that?!? Nah, I collect it as is for sure. I think Marvel did a fantastic job personally. If I had to do all that, I wouldn’t have bought it.
This looks great! Honestly poseable capes make such a difference. I'm surprised no one made one sooner for this figure, this is no-brainer.
Thanks for walking through the customisation, very informative
CANT wait to get mine all the way from Indonesia
Love this look! Great video
this is amazing, amazing tutorial

Super cool customs and an awesome modification!
Awesome review!
Hey XCorp 👋, cool custom job 😎 👌.
Such an amazing upgrade! I wanna do this, might have to! 😁🤔
fantastic !

I don't have any ideas at the moment, but it might be quite extensive work that I'm not conformable carrying out 😅
BEST FIGURE MOD EVER!

Do it! 😉
@@xcorpeo I think I'm gonna, do you know if the skirt is also removable?
@@IDK_Inc. yes it is, after u pop off the torso, the skirt will slide right off, just like the belt
@@xcorpeo I guess mine is a little stiff in the skirt, the belt came right off, guess that's my signal to start the custom XD
Love the whole idea an over all look it gives him but that color👀 is completely off my guy
beautiful cape!! i wish the cape was removable
I'm having a hard time separating my Doctor Strange torso from his legs, is there some sort of trick to removing it?
Great video!!! How did you separate the upper body from the legs? really seems like that piece would give some work and I wouldn't want to break it.
Just pull and it comes apart 😉
Question: Can you remove the "skirt" part and maybe replace it for a fabric one too? That would help with the legs' articulation.

Yes he takes quite some time, but he will eventually deliver

Scrape the red plastic bits off with a hobby knife very very carefully.

The extra magnet that went into the plastic cape was mine, but u can try asking One 12 Props for it. He should oblige u

Do you have a link for what Dremel tools you used?
