#pear. #peardiamond - #pearcaratsize Lab Diamond
The Pear Diamond is so unique, often referred to as the teardrop shape. Probably not the most popular but stands out. It’s probably one of my personal favorites. Its different has a beautiful sparkle and gives a large appearance. The pear is a combination of a round and a marquise shape, with a tapered point on one end. Another big plus is it hides imperfections well like the round. Color should be to be H color or better. This shape tends to show color since its shallow.
Length to with Ratio is a Huge factor in this shape. Usually between a 1.50- 1.70 is considered ideal. This is also Subjective. To short and you have a stubby diamond. Too long and it looks like a skinny tooth. See below.
Let’s gooooo I’ve been searching for pear diamonds this is very helpful
Glad I have been able to help!
I appreciate you picking a hand model with soft, more "regular" (but still beautiful!) hands, versus all the models with long thin fingers. It really helped me gain a perspective on the size of the diamond, instead of just wondering if the big size looked better because of a long finger's larger amount of real estate lol.
Haha yes. My hands didn't do the diamonds justice either. Glad you loved my choice in hand model.
Welcome back. We missed you. We enjoy your videos.
:) Thank you Marco!
Yay new video!
Yayyy! Happy to serve you some fresh content!
Thanks man!
You are welcome!
Thank you for doing this video. I like how you explained the different sizes it really help me Picking out an engagement ring for my wife in the right size
Glad it was helpful!
Funny and entertaining video! HA ! Learned what I wanted to know. Thanx
The thing is, every pear diamond is cut differently you can get a 2ct from 2 different diamond dealers and both will have different cuts even though its a pear and 1 can look smaller then the other depending on the cut as well.
Can you make a video about ideal cut, super ideal cut, true heart(?) cut.. and how we can understand the difference between ideal cut and super ideal cut? Please :)
Hello, thanks for your videos. Very good information. Can you do a vid on yellow diamond please, tks
Great suggestion! Yellow diamonds are difficult to shop for. Fancy colors come in different shades and massive price points due to those shades. Feel free to email me if you are in the market right now and about to buy. infodiamondcity@gmail.com
Cool. Love the 3 carats. However, please show A Round Brilliant Cut 3 Carats & recommendations. Replacing my 2 C soon. Thanks. All your vids are very helpful. 👍🇨🇦😍
Sure thing! Just uploaded a round video comparison.
@@OsirisDiamonds thank you 🙏 🇨🇦
Bought one for my gf. She loves it. A 1 carat looks big she wears a size 3.
Glad I was able to help
Blue Nile is a good site for diamonds too
Yes love bluenile, its on my preferred list.
very helpful size comparison. I am planning to set Pear-shape diamonds as stud earrings.
So what do you recommend ? will Pear-shape 0.5 Carat (each) be good? and what clarity and cut should i go for to avoid the bow-tie effect?
Thanks in advance for your recommendation :)
Thats going to be a very cool pair of earrings. I think that all depends on your budget. Most local venders wot have .50 carats certified. Especially for earrings so you may not have access to percentages with non certified goods. Online will be the best way to go. @@OsirisDiamonds thanks a lot :)
