Definitely worked for me. My left audio was super low, I say if it doesn't work after the qtip then jab the toothbrush or small brush at the speaker until you see no build up in the holes at all and it should work.

For anyone wondering, colgate has a "floss tip" toothbrush.
I highly recommend using one of those brushes to really get down into the holes and clear the blockages.

Came here after I read on Reddit to clean the grill. This is after it went very quiet from water damage in the shower. Always happened before, but this time the sound never returned.
I literally disassembled the whole bud and dried it using silica gel packs. Volume still did not get better. I decided to order another one because I have a massive collection of more expensive buds, but the fact that these have no tips makes them my daily drivers.
After ordering another pair, and reading on Reddit, I decided to give a clean ago not expecting it to make any difference. Literally just got a brush, and brushed the grill. No visible dirt came out, but the sound is back to full volume! These buds are so useful, I might not even cancel the replacement pair.

THIS WORKED!!! Thank you so much. My left Galaxy Bud's sound was dampened to the point of being almost inaudible, and rubbing the speaker with hand sanitizer helped. Again, sending my thanks!

These buds are terrible. When you use a Brush to clear out hole jams, you're actually just pushing the wax INTO the ear bud where it collects over time, and with no way to remove the mesh to clean under it that wax is now a permanent feature. Over time the reduced sound will be permanent and un- fixable because the issue will be a big ball of wax inside the bud that you have no way of getting out. The inside of these must be vile.

So, idk if I'm doing this wrong or if my ears are too small, but if I put these buds in at all they kill my ears after about 40 minutes of use, and I'm begging to let the skin on my ear to just rest.
Which kind of sucks, because music is how I keep myself stimulated, and I can't get new headphones soon due to a lack of money.

Sell them or trade them with another Earbuds if you can..
Also try changing the tips, I use the default one..
Even then Right one is perfect fit but Left one seems little offset and irritates but nothing like pain after a long use.

So..I had been using blu tack to pull out the wax or other dirt stuck inside the speaker holes and it always worked perfectly for me. No chance of damage, and everything gets pulled away cleanly. But some blu tack just got stuck inside one of my buds speaker and now almost all the little holes are blue since they're filled with the blu tack. 🙃 gone from being slightly blocked to definitely blocked lmao will regular cleaning alcohol and a gentle brush work still?
