  • Italy is not just a country with diverse landscapes and cultures across its 20 regions. It's a place where the pace of life allows you to truly savor every moment.
From the cooler, more reserved northern regions to the warm, sunny, and friendly south, each area in Italy offers a distinct feeling and way of life. Despite these differences, a common thread unites all Italians - a love for the simple things in life and a positive, adaptable outlook.
One of the most endearing aspects of living in Italy is the emphasis on family and community. Here, families are tightly knit, and the elderly are revered and considered integral members of the community. This respect for all generations adds a rich depth to everyday life and helps maintain strong family bonds.
Italy's affordability is a pleasant surprise, adding to its appeal as a great place to live. The country's excellent healthcare system and safe environment are significant plus points too.

We stumbled upon your channel while looking for videos to prepare us for our visit to Italy in a couple of weeks. We saw the trip you took to Naples for a food tour and we were hooked. We love the way you two play off each other. Since then we have watched so many of your videos and learned about Italian cuisine...what to eat and how to eat. We're particularly excited to try the four Roman pastas we learned about from your series where you ate each one at a restaurant and then made it at home.
We are very interested in one place you visited in particular: Flavio al Velavevodetto ai Quiriti. is this the sort of place that we need to reserve well in advance? We will be in Rome in about three weeks and would love to visit, but are trying not to make too many arrangements in advance lest we regret too tight a schedule.
Thank you for your content! If we happen to bump into you while you're filming in Rome, we will be sure to say hello!

Planning a trip to Bologna and Florence in April. So looking forward to it. Haven't been since I was a teenager. My Mom was Italian and, obviously, my Grandmother. It all sounds wonderful!

I would imagine if I moved to Italy I would miss other ethnic foods such as Chineses, Thai , Chinese etc. My question is are other ethnic dishes available in Italy? I would, imagine again that the cities would be more conducive to more of a variety of food

You find food from different culture in Italy … Japanese, Chinese, Indian. I am sure they may taste slightly different than the recipes in their original country. 😬

How do many Italians feel about the right wing government that is in power? As an Italian American, I was very disappointed.

We never talk about politics. But whoever won was voted by the majority of the population.
