There's so many details in this game I adore. One of my favorite is that our character Wander is clearly not a swordsman. He swings it wildly, his technique is all over the place. And that's because he's clearly an archer - he can pull off advanced archery while riding the horse, hanging off the side of Agro or leaping off. It's an early indication that Wander's clearly not used to handling a sword, and helps in the ending reveal that he stole it.
About the "25 hours to fully complete" thing, there's an additional secret in the remaster that is never referenced in the game outside of the credits. they mention a "79 steps to enlightenment," which are small little glowing orbs around the map with no in game hints to their location. getting all of them unlocks a pretty huge secret.

I love the gimmick for each colossi it really is what makes the game so fun. Then there's the story that is slightly dark, if I remember correctly: All the colossi are not even evil (I mean sure a few are pretty agro), it's the one that you revived that is (or can be interpreted as) evil, yet you still managed to take down all other innocent colossi, and I think the protagonist got caught in the middle (or an accessory) of a revenge cycle. Dormin the shadow that you see at the end, along with Emon the man who is said to own the sword that you stole to kill the colossi, both have a history with each other, as far as I can tell Emon sealed Dormin away by dividing him into 16 pieces then gave those pieces to the colossi, I'm not sure if that corrupted the colossi or not. But I think you do live... I think you're the baby at the end the one with the horns.
I feel so bad for these Colossi... they are just some dudes... walking in the world, vibing... and then BAM! Your license of living was revoked! Also big fan of the underwater voice edit during the eel fight!

I am so happy that you get to play a game that you really enjoy!! However, and I hope this does not come off as ungrateful, and not to take away from the effort you put in, but I would love to watch you play Xenoblade Chronicles. I think your style and humor would make that an incredible game to follow :)
So I dont know if someone else has said. Pretty much, what you're doing in this game is that you've traveled to the forbidden lands because you've heard that the power that resides there can revive the dead. Over the course of the game you defeat the Colossi who each guard a piece of the dark guy according to his bidding (he's the voice). The guys at the end were chasing you were doing so because they were afraid of the dark guys revival. He uses your body as a conduit to return to the world as it has absorbed all the pieces of his power. The guys see this and successfully seal you away again. Also, yes, you ARE a monster for destroying such harmless creatures like the Colossi.
I think you should revisit Subnautica, its absolutely one of my favourite games to play and I come back to it every year. You started off by playing the sequel (below zero), but I think you should start over at the original. I appreciate the game so much that I'd probably write an essay on every aspect of the game, but I don't have the time for it and no-one would read that. But just know that its a beautiful game about conquering fear, and discovering things about the alien planet you are stranded on
I’ve been watching Quin so much that now whenever I play a new game there’s a little Quin voice in my head commenting and laughing about how bad of a gamer I am
When I first played Botw, the mechanic with climbing the stone talus gave me soooo many Shadow of the Collusus vibes. It’s why they're one of my favorite enemies in that game.
I'm so happy to see you play this, this is my favourite videogame and I don't see a lot of people talking about it, so this was a bit of a surprise to see in my notifications.
Can I just say that Quin's editing skills are becoming legendary. The voice filters for underwater and falling were a really nice touch.
Yeah, really immersive

I really recommend Senua's Sacrifice. Completion takes 8-10 hours. the story is great and the graphics and environment are really nice as well. Also they're coming out with a sequel soon so I'm waiting with bated breath for that and breath of the wild two rn lol
Ahh I love this game, I'm so happy to see you playing this, i haven't stopped grinning since I saw the upload! Please play ICO next and then the Last Guardian!
I started playing this game last week and it's been awesome, it feels like all those artsy games like journey but with solid gameplay
I am so happy that you get to play a game that you really enjoy!! However, and I hope this does not come off as ungrateful, and not to take away from the effort you put in, but I would love to watch you play Xenoblade Chronicles. I think your style and humor would make that an incredible game to follow :)
This is such an amazing game. Definitely one of my favorites too.
Let's gooooooo
I can't wait to see you playing this!
Hey Quin, I would recommend Far: Lone Sails as a short game cause its only about 2-4 hours. And if you like it you could play the second one.
31:45 I don't know why something about watching Wander get absolutely punted is so funny to me I just keep replaying it.
''there's something wrong with our friend'' yeah, its called death. kind of a rare disease
This game is just special. It needs to be ported to every new console until the end of time. One of the most epic, cinematic games ever.
This game looks sick. The collosi (?) definitely gives Divine Beast vibes lmao
When I first played Botw, the mechanic with climbing the stone talus gave me soooo many Shadow of the Collusus vibes. It’s why they're one of my favorite enemies in that game.
Abzu is a beautiful game, less about the gameplay but very charming. Spirit of the North is also beautiful and has decent puzzles
I'm so happy to see you play this, this is my favourite videogame and I don't see a lot of people talking about it, so this was a bit of a surprise to see in my notifications.
my brother recommended this game to me last year. one of the most beautiful, frustrating but exhilerating games ive ever played.
