Watching Farooq cosplaying as Megaman, it's amazing to think he was part of one of WCW's most dominant tag teams, as well as the WCW World Champion just a few years prior.
When I was a chubby 21 year old at work, we used black spray paint to paint brackets, so, I started painting NWO on everything. I was young and stupid then, and I'm old and stupid now.
Im starting to think that maybe Farooq is a pathetic sub zero ripoff. Did he debut after glacier promos? if so might have been trying to spoil/steal their character idea. Sorry Im catching up
The Meng Manliness Meter needs to be a thing IRL. Arn Anderson eating an Arby's Beef n' Cheddar while smoking a Marlboro and drinking a pull top can of beer also needs to be on that scale right next to Meng.
Imagine, Razor Ramon talking to Meng: Hey Meng, meng. I am the meng around here, meng. Trust me chico, if you think you're Meng, you've gotta beat the real meng, meng.
When my grandson told me that wrestling bios just uploaded another video, I had to run up two flights of steps to get to my phone, I'm 53 years old, I shouldn't be able to run that fast anymore lol
Problem was they had been setting up the Glacier angle before the Outsiders fell into their lap. The two presentations were somewhat incongruent and Glacier had to be put to the side.
Bischoff's explanation for the Glacier character is hilarious. He wanted to create characters that could be licenced to be used in videogames.. by stealing famed videogame characters.
I've been waiting for this. Me and a friend were debating when Glacier actually debuted. He said Nitro and I thought WCW Saturday night but we are both wrong. Wrestling Bios does it once again. Thanks for the great videos.
Fun fact, this whole Razor/Diesel storyline ended up leading to WCW management giving Hall and Nash a massive pay increase since they were worked into believing that they really were going to jump and Hall and Nash purposefully didn't confirm nor deny anything going on.
@@tomr3422 fun fact you are wrong. Ted did not wanna sell Wcw. When shown how much money he was burning up he said that's it I lose more on baseball. The time warner deal is what killed wcw.

When I was watching this as a kid I didn’t realise how awesome and imperative Savio Vega was, I’m such a mark for him now. For me that point should have gone to the Mega Man vs Vega match
Thank you so much for this one. This was the last Monday of wrestling I watched, before leaving for the Army. Back in 96. I wouldn't see another wrestling match till the Screw job. This is amazing.
My god. What the hell was going on with the WWF at that time? Were most of their main, star, wrestlers out with injuries, or on vacation that night? I can't help but notice that it was "Enhancement Talent" night on RAW that night.
When I consider that Jim Cornette was head of WWF creative as this was being booked, it really hurts his credibility now when he lambasts everybody's else's booking decisions.
Apart from sunny and candido.. Vincent buried everyone who came in from smokey mountain wrestling.. I didn't know that... cheers big man another cracking watch
Farooq the modern day gladiator 🤣🤣 respect to ron simons for being that legitimately tough to not be laughed out the locker room for wearing that tin foil helmet
I wasn't even alive when Crow Sting made his first appearance, so it will be interesting to see it through new eyes. However, I do already know the "conclusion" of the original Sting vs nWo storyline at Starrcade '97, and that is not something I am all too excited about.

It's amazing the WWF had any viewers at this point. The storylines we... nonexistent and there were like 4 legit wrestlers. Also amazing, how quickly they turn it around.
The fact is, a company doesn't need a good product to have fans/viwers/enthusiasts/customers. Both WCW & WWF proved that by having millions watch at there worst times.
I love the bits ribbing Mongo McMichael for his interesting wrestling ability, but really sad to hear of his fight with ALS that sounds like it's getting rough really quickly. In a strange way, this series and the attention it's paying to him are a nice way to remember him since he's not likely got a lot of time left. Good luck, Mongo!
I am Canadian, and we had a 1 hour version of Nitro the following Saturday afternoon. Believe it or not, they actually EDITED OUT the Sting "Heel turn", so in the final 30 minutes, we heard the announcers mourning and talking about it... Then during the closing credits, they actually show the replay of it! Whoever was in charge of editing should have been FIRED! LOL
Man,you gotta make Reliving The War twice a week. It's really hard waiting for the next episode. Blame my shortened attention span but I'd love me a lot more Reliving The War each week.😎😎

The intro is so good and last week wrestling bios got Jim Cornette for the intro was just awesome last week
