Just started jetski fishing this season here in Jersey after 3 years of fighting the crowds doing in-shore. Oh man, it's more relaxing this way.. I hope the cold won't come ever coz I'm enjoying it to much... Subscribed!
@@tingweizhang8386 call your local bait-shop beforehand and ask if they got green crabs. Most should be stocked up or they can let you know when a delivery is coming in. You can also buy them by the LB bushel alive and freeze them for long term. Don’t freeze already dead crabs, they don’t work well as bait once they loose freshness
Thanks for sharing Bob! Nice catch on the tog. It would be cool to show some of the spots that are accessible from shore that you're willing to share with others. This way others can benefit from the hopefully catch and release of small tog. Nice catch on the last one. Hopefully it was a keeper... Keep up the nice videos. As per the anchor, what'd the purpose of the noodle? To keep the line away from the kayak?
hey! The noodle is for a buoy so when a wave comes, you disconnect and then go back to the noodle thats floating. Milk jug works too or a styrofoam buoy.
@@Peachnbasil thank you for watching. you can get them at most tackle shops or use a crab trap and catch them yourself. They are not very expensive though from a shop
@@Kayyytz big time. I don’t use jigs over an ounce. Switch to the rig when more weights needed. The jig gets more bites but I catch a lot of quality fish on the rig
@@ZaviaaDHagwood they’re both wrasse, I think so. California Sheepshead is a bucket list fish, they’re so cool looking. Thank you for the comment ZaviaaD
@@ZaviaaDHagwood when you want the bait to float not sink. Tautog are bottom feeders so we want to sink for fishing like this. Bobbers also create movement and for tautog you want to keep the jig still
Great outing Bob. I'm loving tog fishing they put on some fight. Very nice sea bass too.
@@FishingWithLou it’s a good time! Hope your having fun out there
@BobAquatic sure am Bob, even if nothing bites, it's just great to be outside casting

@@impo55 oh no! They weren’t chewing? That’s strange I’d think they’d be dialed in from a boat
