It’s set up with the bees from 4:10 - more specifically when he does the sneaking thing under the ledge a little later, the bees kill him but he switches from sneaking to walking on the same frame causing him to be sort of dead (known as the death delay glitch or DDG). When he rolls onto the mine at 5:25 he doesn’t actually die as a result and just turns invisible instead
