@@DarkW8 To find the Paramonia Scrabania skip, it took until 2014 to find it was possible. My latest PSX TAS beats the game in 12:50.09 with all the known tricks, including what we like to call the 'swag turn' which involves performing a 'stop turn' glitch towards the end of a ledge, it's faster to do it than the way Namesoom does in the Monsaic Lines, I can still beat him! ruclips.net/video/-tCWFebPBd4/видео.html this run gets the 'ultimate bees' glitch every time even when opening up the movie file in the emulator!!
I think its the hit boxes of the mines, plus this is the pc port, which was far less optimised than the PS version. The die into chant into Jump through portal early is a "death wrong warp" when the game still thinks things are this way, when they're actually changed. These are guesses based on a lot of speedrun techniques.
It's a glitch called "Death Delay Glitch" often abbreviated as DDG it makes Abe invisible and can corrupt his sprite and eventually become invisible at some point allowing him to get past things that would kill him. Abe will die if he falls of a ledge or gets zapped.
Congrats Soom!! I think I can still beat you with my Zulag 3 strat, you just gotta set up the storage underneath the ledge at the start of zulag 3, say "Hi" to the Slig after pulling the lever, sneak a few steps to right then roll past him... it's pretty easier compared to the TAS strat I do!
It's a speedrun, the joy of technically precise inputs, timing and a challenge to everyone else with a PC version of the game. Can you do it better? Etc If you want a Long play, you're already on yt so just type in Long play Abes odysee and enjoy.
