@@keefyfingers8574 You're welcome and thanks for watching. I think I was at 170 F but 160 F might be better. Remember, every air fryer is different and so check for doneness and desired texture... time may have to be adjusted but it's nice to have an air fryer with the versatility to dehydrate and make delicious jerky.

It should work just fine. Cooking time and batch size will likely vary. Just check the product ahead of the cook time until desired doneness and texture is achieved. Thanks for watching and good luck.

What would be the point of wearing gloves if the very first thing you touch with them is raw meat? And then continue to contaminate every other thing with those contaminated gloves.

Thanks so much for your comments and concerns. First, with raw food that is going to be cooked to a safe temperature it is true that it is not necessary to wear gloves. However, I prefer to wear gloves while handling raw foods especially sloppy meats just because I just don't like getting all that on my bare hands. And, it is my general habit to wash my hands directly afterwards. And, it is ok to handle ready to eat foods without gloves as long as you thoroughly wash your hands prior to handling. Gloves should never replace proper handwashing. With that said, while reviewing the content, I did notice my touching the air fryer with my used gloved then bare hands just after taking my gloves off and that was a mistake but I am not sure where you can translate that to your exaggeration "every other thing." The final segment of the video when I remove the jerky from the air fryer was 3 hours after putting it in and long after I disposed of the gloves and just after washing my hands. I truly am very conscious of cross contamination and understand the importance of safely handling "ready to eat" foods. I will admit that I made an error when placing the jerky in the oven and I will take heed to have more caution and I thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Thanks so much for watching the video and I definitely appreciate all comments, and suggestions. As always... "enjoy food!" or maybe I should amend that phrase on going to "enjoy safe and delicious food!" Peace.

Thank you for this review, I was wondering how well it dehydrated because I want to be able to air fry and dehydrate. It was very helpful, I think he's talking about you touching the raw meat and then touching your seasonings though
