Marinade is equal amounts of soy sauce and Worcester sauce, garlic and onion powder. Chili flakes. Cut meat against the grain, marinate for 24 hours. Hang meat in the oven with paper clips. 6 to 8 hours to dry dependingon the thickness of the meat. Open oven door several times to let the moisture out.
@@garagegrubbin I just tried and I bought wagyu beef that was already finely sliced. Only used salt, pepper, cayenne pepper. And did what you did for air fryer steps. Came out great. But i think, had I dried it longer it would have come out to sinewy. I asked once I was waiting and had the meat in the air fryer already.
Budah - Glad it came out tasty for you. If it was too moist, dry it one more cycle in the air fryer. And keep in mind, the fattier the meat, the shorter the shelf life once prepared.
@@gwain7179 it's not that much more expensive. At least the thin cuts I bought werent. It's why I bought them, I had heard wagyu was juicy and I wanted my jerky to be sort of soft.
love the video! And have to say you are the twin of actor Bruce Davidson, Davison? I always get it wrong. I think it's Davison. lol but yup! You're a spitting image! I really like him as an actor, so yes, it's a good thing. Unless he's a complete jerk in real life, then I'm so sorry. lol! Again, thanks for good videos ~
Lol! Well I’m glad you enjoy Garage Grubbin’. I enjoy making the episodes. Some more than others. Lots of fun and not too taxing. Will be. Will be checking out this actor you speak of.
@@garagegrubbin how great to actually have the you tube host respond. Thank you. And oh my goodness yes, you Have to see this actor! Show his pic to somebody else & see what they say if you don't think you look like him. A Little bit longer hair ~ Keep up helping others & your pleasantness & personality. It's recognized & appreciated ~

Thx! That’s the slow and thorough method. Garage Grubbin’ only does quick and simple. Don’t have a regular oven in my garage.
Seen some YT vids where they hung the jerky in the air fryer. Allowed for more surface area and no turning. Great video by the way.
I love hearing all these ideas & techniques. Each time we try it again we can implement another way of getting things done ~
That looked so delicious
Try it. None better.
Liked and subscribed. Will have to go back and watch again so i can get list of ingredients, time and temp.
Super simple and the results are consistently great. In my humble opinion.
To make beef jerky use inside round, marinate for 24 hours and hang in the oven at 170 degrees to dry.
How long do you hang it?
Is wagyu not reccomend because it doesnt have the right texture when its dried? Or because it wont last as long as leaner meat cuts?
Buddha - All of the above. Too much fat.

Probably cuz it's too expensive for jerky. It's just jerky. Cmon

Me too. No need to hang the meat IMO.
cool beans!
Thx! All time favorite!
