When dilute hydrochloric acid reacts with sodium carbonate, then sodium chloride, carbon dioxide and water are formed. A brisk effervescence is seen in the release of carbon dioxide. Na2CO3(s) + 2 HCl → 2NaCl(aq) + CO2(g) + H2O(l) NaCl is neutral so no effect unless you have added more HCl
Titration (also known as titrimetry and volumetric analysis) is a common laboratory method of quantitative chemical analysis to determine the concentration of an identified analyte (a substance to be analyzed). A reagent, termed the titrant or titrator, is prepared as a standard solution of known concentration and volume. The titrant reacts with a solution of analyte (which may also be termed the titrand) to determine the analyte's concentration. The volume of titrant that reacted with the analyte is termed the titration volume.
Sir, what is that white precipitate? NaCl is soluble so there's no way that precipitate is NaCl. It cannot be Na2CO3 as well because all sodium compounds are soluble, but I am still not sure. Could you please explain this a bit?
@@iron1975 boi first off my least fav is chemistry I’m just tryna get thru the friggin exam. Second off atleast I won’t fail like u will with that attitude. Third off why did u even click on this video if u were just gonna comment stuff like this? Thank you
It fell good to study something if u know what u r studying ❤️
Thanks for watching 🙏
man just poured hydrochloric acid straight out of a bottle into a test tube with no gloves or ANYTHING
It's diluted so maybe it doesn't cause harm
Yes
It can spill on you and you won't even notice
Veryyyyyyyy nice
Helped me a lot ☺️
Usefully this experiment
In this when uu put ligmus paper it turned red is it co2 is acidic in nature or is it because of the solution in which it made the co2 acidic
Co2 is a nonmetal oxide which are acidic in nature
Yes, pretty amazing 😍
Amazing Sir
Very nice video sir
Very helpful 😃😃😃
Lovely sir
tq sir...............
Dude, I have the same test tube holder btw

Sir, if you put pH paper or pH probe, what is the pH you will get ?

Hindi bhi bolo kriye sir please 🙏 and very thankful for this video 👍
is the white precipitate sodium chloride?
No. PPT Settels down
Is it safe for class experiment
Yes
Which chemical can repulse needle ?please reply sir .
I am unaware sorry
Sir nice 👍👍👍👍
sir kindly explain me shortly what is ta application of thik titration????

Interesting scientific demonstration
Sir is god because sir is not wearing glubs in hand and touching HCl
I will be careful next time, thank you for watching the video..
Sirji DN salt ka analysis bataiy
Will surely try. Thank you

@@garbagecaz yes you're right
Excess reactants gets saturated
2:22 did you technically made a carbonated drink?
Yes
@@MakeMeScientific cool. I'd like to know what it tastes like
it is a rapid process or slow
Slow
Slow
Take precautions man..............
Yes. Thanks
I thought it will remain dissolved.
All sodium compounds are water soluble
Ok
sir is this reaction exothermic?
Little bit exothermic but not such that it heats up the vessel
@@MakeMeScientific ok sir
Sir iam a dialler in my class and iam not going to college and i don't lnow to do practical
Ok
Sir meri book me NaCl ko (aq ) bataya h
Apki me tho solid h 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Sir but where is the salt? Pls reply
Sodium carbonate is salt
Sodium chloride is salt
