Honestly this figure was a thousand times better than the first movie, Hasbro really nailed the live action toy line the second time around

i just got voyager class starscream today and I love it.
I like the hands on the Jet mode, they look like hawk feet in the back xD
Starscream for ROTF is awesome. Wish they made Thundercracker and the other seekers with this mold.
Pity about the false advertising of the "Pop out missle launchers!" and in the instructions and on the box, Starscream's hands are able to fold onto themselves, hence making the jet mode sleeker. Other than that, a very detailed transformer, I'm very happy with it :D
first landing gear is not fully open on the video (is half opened to be more exact)
If u actually have a look at the sheet which shows how to transform him, u'l notice that starscream's hands can actually be folded, so they r actually not supposed to be visible in jet mode, the same goes with launcher which are supposed to be
" pop out " launchers

That's an official product called Buster Oprimus Prime by Takara.
I heard the same thing from some ppl who work at toy stores. they're also remaking Prime with removable face plate and it has his guns that transform from his smoke stacks plus a more detailed paint job.
i had a transformer like 10 years ago i donno if it was starscream or jet fire, but its cool i still like to play with it..

MY PERSONAL TIP TO "FIX" THE HANDS IN JET MODE: Just SWAP his Right & Left forearms, then proceed normally with the transformation.
This way, in jet mode the hands stand BELOW the cannons (that now are JET ENGINES), and if you bend the hands, they support the weight and the plane can stand up like a rocket.
It looks awesome.;-}
He is an excellent figure to pick up...I recomend him over his old mold from the 07 movie. Though 1 complaint I have is the war tattoos are cheaply painted...they scratch right off...I might have to get a sharpie and mark them in permanently...
open the brown connector (That connects to the elbow and arm) and reverse it . it will now bend and all sides.

I agree I don't like the ROTF Voyager SS. I think the first one is much better as far as the Voyager go.
except its legs keep snapping off

ROTF Starscream has the creapiest transformation, I think. and the Proto Starscream just looks freaky, but he is still cool... unfortunately, I NEVER see them at any toy stores!! DX
Hey.. So would you guys say the ROTF version is better than the 2007 voyager?
I just didnt like how the tatoos peeled (scratched) off over time. I was forced to paint mine over with silver parts. If the leader class has a coating of some sort so that the tats do not come off, then i might consider it.
the first movie premium starscream is too bulky
but the roft voyager starscream is really cool nice video
I actually like the 2007 version a bit better. It's just a personal preference. I like bulk. But which one is more "articulated" or "poseable?"
I agree. The rotf starscream is such a mess with its transformation and I like the head sculpt more in the 2007 toy

I dont own the 2007 voyager, but I'm pretty sure the ROTF figure has greater articulation and posibility :)

STarscream really lost a lot of weight since the 1st movie
did you notice that in the instructions that the fist is supposed to be made out of two pieces and i also noticed that it's like that on some ones custom and in mine and most of the reviews that it isn't like that at all!

in peaugh's review of rotf starscream he said that that feature was removed along with a hinge in his hands
I guess it is better than that weird brown color, but I wonder were he got the symbols. Maybe, back on Cybertron because he was there for two years.

At the beginning, the F-22 really reminds me of the YF-23
i like the new jet mode for starscream but not so much the robot mode, but i don't like the older jet mode but i like the older robot mode. the older one should have had the hands though i really like the hands.

Voyoger is bigger than deluxe, you can know by viewing the box for details. Oh yeah, may I know whether Starscream is available in deluxe? I don't seem to see one....... Its a cheaper option I guess...... I also can't find one in leader class.......

hey sean,did u realize that when it shows starscream on the back it says,pull-back missles launchers,what happened to those 2 additions y show em if they're not on the figure?
Ha ha ha, I think there is actually a black extend wheel at the front landing gear that he forgotten to pull out......
This one has a better transformation that the 2007 one...

Hey Sean, you should get Transformers HUNT for THE DECEPTICONS Leader Class Starscream if you don't alrdy have him he's the best Starscream so far.
ya know u have to put the little gear things into a little hole so when u spin his head the orange gears spin.

I picked up the fallen toy at loys r us a few weeks ago when at the same time picked up this new starscream. XD much more enjoyable to use than the first.
Also if youv played the new console videogame Starscreams voice is extremely low like megatrons which sounds so wrong... but now megatrons voice is back to that of G1 in the movie and game so yay! XD great game btw. anyway... go transformers!
I know there is no way that this will reach Hasbro, but why not have cannons instead of hands. Then he will have thruster-looking things where he should do, rather than random claws.
The jet mode has the front landing gear configured the wrong way.

The front landing gear flips out even more, just pull out the black part.
in realilty the F-22 does not carry its missles under it's wings, it acctualy has a bomb bay built into it.

for the 2007 starsream u forgot to bend his legs thats why he looks tall...

in transformers 2 starscream's voice sounds diffrent from the first movie.
i honestly hated this disign out of all the ones from the movie series it was starscream i hated the most maybe it was the arms idk, but i recently picked up the dotm lead class bumblebee walmart ex and it came with a deluxe starscream, now the movie design is one of my favorites.
