Just started learning guitar at 37, your channel was a big factor. Wanting to play the dead and seeing it broken down this way is amazing.
THANK YOU FOR THE DIAGRAMS FOR THE DIFFERENT CHORD INVERSIONS YOURE USING! it really helps alot!
Yeah, and the scales to use for the solo.
Oh my…… when you got into that solo section I had to stop trying to learn and almost had to stand up and dance!!!! WOW so real….
The D shape is the C shape.... mind blown. Thanks!
You are literally the only reason i can play dead songs on guitar 🙌🙌 another amazing video
This means the world! Thanks homie!
love this song! Dead and Co in Boulder 2 years ago i think it was the set ended with this song. when the music stopped the crowd kept chanting no our love will not fade away. such a party. the music never stops
Dude you crack me up man. You have the best Grateful Dead lessons I've ever seen but the way in which you present the material is priceless. I could watch the videos for the comedy alone.
Your solo tone is pure money. Please bring St. Owsley to Philly!
We just got a booking agent, so that’s in the cards now!
What’s up, brother? I most humbly and graciously request that you do a Sage and Spirit tutorial. As far as I can tell none exist. You’d be the first. Very gratefully yours…
I love learning the many different ways of playing a couple of simple chords up and down the fretboard thank you. Davey! this is priceless 🙏
Awsome, informative and entertaining!! Peace.
Dude, your lessons have brought me to new levels. Thanks as always. ☮
Killer dreads - love this tune!!!!
Great job. Very practical use of inversions.
Great song, Thanks!
The fingering tips and those inversions images from the Golden Road Course are a really nice addition too!
One of my absolute favorite songs!
Time for some good Sunday learning
Currently looking up definition of 'ubiquitous'... You're a friggin' wordsmith, Davvy! Keep up the good work, love your stuff.
Best channel on RUclips to learn guitar!
Thanks Davvy for another great lesson and making learning Dead music so easily accessible. 💖✌️
LOL, LOL, LOL... great... stuff... and I will never forget the inversions because this dude is hilarious and on it - thanks for the laughs and lessons (Play Dead is better, but LAUGHS AND LESSONS - that's free to you)- takes me back to my first Dead show in '90 - Thanks, Davvy? Toby?!
Thank you My little Head big Handed Friend!
Thanks!
Nice! Now I can segue into GDTRFB..... speaking of segues, Help/Slip/Franklin???? Moohahaha Be well Davvy
I agree I’d love a lesson on Help/Slip/Franklin’s
I’m working on it now and there’s a couple parts I haven’t figured out yet
@@visathief i feel you. I have a few parts down but need help tying it all together.
@toddnadell @visatheif It’s coming, but as you guys know, that series of videos is gunna take quite a bit of preparation to execute the best way. I’m thinking of H/S/F for the month of December so I can start prepping in the side.
@@TobyDavvy I’m in no hurry 😜
@@TobyDavvy It'll make a great Xmas present!
question. what about the jerry shrill triads just before the solos? classic here and also stuff like morning dew. love that signature jerry “fill.”
Always great lessons! Many thanks! Any plans to release a lesson on How Sweet It Is (to be loved by you) anytime soon?!
Thanks as always, Davvy !!!!
Love it, Davvy! Thanks
Wait for a little little Phil? What if you're not playing with Phil? JK, great lesson.
🙏another great video!
the dude down below that says you crack me up and it's really fun learning Grateful Dead songs from you I completely agree you make same Grateful Dead songs....
oh no.... it's......... briiiiiiiiiidge
make playing Dead songs fun. it's a bridge
FINALLY!
Pls do Mindbender (Confusions Prince).
I'd like to see a video just on that guitar.
Is that a midi on your guitar? Have you talked about that in any of your videos? I’d really like to see a demo or something if you haven’t already. I bet Jerry’s horn parts in Let It Grow are fun to play with that
Very Rambling Man sounding 6:04
Awsome
Hey, Davvy! Is that an Alembic you’re playing?
It is an alembic clone by Eastwood. It plays really well, but I’m not a fan of Eastwood or their practices with wiring and shielding. I’ve had to do a lot of work to it to make it playable.
@@TobyDavvy it sounds great!
We need a help on the way/slipknot
what is that guitar? and where can i get one?
such a price to pay to watch. like a vacuum cleaner at 6am
😁
Don't threaten me with a good time...
day 10057 of asking for Wharf rat next
It’s coming Griff, be easy. That’s a big boy which is gunna take some prep time.
@@TobyDavvy all good I love you davvy
But, for real. It’ll be within the next month or so. Love you too
Too much talking
