Most important acquisition for the Lakers is Klay Thompson. That deal simultaneously strengthens Lakers and weakens GSW. Then it's 2 all stars vs 3 all stars. Slightly more competitive than 1 vs 4 ! N.B. Klay improves Lakers 3point quality; also note Klay doesn't get as many shots on GSW as he might in the Lakers. The only snag is if GSW gets a "healthy" Kawhi to replace Klay :/

we have to remember....Kawhi MUST play well this season or all this talk may be for nothing. he has to prove he is healthy and still a stud. So it doesn't matter if he doesn't want to play in Toronto...he has to play well next season period(even if still with SA). Now if he is still a stud, then he could take Toronto to the finals....and he plays well against the Dubs so they could even take 2 games.
