Great video! I just recently bought a 99 GT Four and I was looking into getting some coilovers but I keep seeing people having to weld them? I would definitely like to stay away from that if possible, does anyone have any info on this? It seems like your install was way easier. Hopefully this isn’t too stupid of a question, thanks for your time.
you said that the camber was not right. I'm thinking of getting these coilovers but what has to happen if there is indeed i problem with the camber? i don't really know how it works
Hey I commented not that long ago, bout to buy my wheels 17x9 and offset spacers to make it 35mm. with 215-45-17 tires. I have a ST and am hopeful it’s the same fitment as your GT. did you have any issues installing your wheels i have stock springs.
@@charliexiong6541 was there any rubbing? i don’t know if I should get the spacers to make the wheel pop out more cause originally the offset is 25 what’s yours? i don’t have coilovers either
@@nelsontorres317 I can't recall exactly what the offset is but it's probably 35 or 30. 17x9 is wide enough to stick out a little. You can still go with 225 or 235 for tires if you don't plan on lowering your car too low
Hi, I'm located in NorCal north Sacramento. I already purchased a 4th Gen 3sgte and did the swap. Anyway, how much are you asking for your 3sgte and what gen is it? I might have some potential buyers.
2500 for the engine and wire harness it's a gen 5 done by doug at wire gap... But the harness was made for my right hand drive Celica so we'll have to probably modified but I'm not sure how much extending... Also includes a stage 2 South bend endurance clutch and aluminum fidenza flywheel
Charlie, thanks a lot for posting this up. I'm looking to set up an ST185 GT-Four which is quite similar, so this will be very helpful.
They look great with the coilovers and hope the motor swap happen soon.

there’s no welding required if you purchased the correct coil overs. The installed is straight forward.
