This is one of the most beautiful videos I have ever seen. You are very gifted. I was on the fence between the Sony A7IV and S5II, in connection with the new Sigma 60-600mm, and asked @BernardBertrand for his recommendation. He told me to watch this video and I am amazed. Obviously going with Panasonic now! If you have any thoughts on the S5IIx vs. the S5II, or the new Sigma, please do let me know. Thank you and keep up the great work!
beautiful! Im going to sari sands/timbavati reserves in South Africa next year, can't wait!, Just ordered the s5ii along with the 150-600 also will bring my Om1 with Lumix 35-100 f/2.8 to cover 70-600mm , one amateur question, I am not a video person but really want to practice a lot the next 6 months before my safari, what frame rate and resolution was this shoot at? 4k 60p, or fad 120p upscaled to 4k? it is a stupid question but it looks majestic!!!! another last question, I want to take my drone but will I be allowed to use it in the reserves? sorry for that much questions
Incredible video! How was the autofocus performance with the Sigma 60-600? I am considering to buy S5 Markii with the Sigma 600 for a wildlife film, I will be shooting Himalayan brown bear and Snow leopard. Should I go with this setup? What do you recommend?
Beautiful video! How do you like the Sigma 150-600? Was it too heavy to carry around on your safari? Does it have image stabilization and did you film this video hand held? Just asking because I'm considering this lens.
Thx ! I loved it 😉 It's heavy but it's a beast for this kind of images. And check the new one...Sigma 60-600 : it looks like it's better everywhere 😉 I made lots of shots handheld and a few shots with DJI RS2 and Slider Zeapon Lab
Beautiful imagery! I have the s5 gen 1 and absolutely love it. It really is a shame that Panasonic is dead in the water here in South Africa. Had to order mine from the states and the rubber is loosening under the shutter area which is worrying seeing as I live and shoot at the coast. I’ve kept my s5 but also bought the a7iv which is a AF beast in comparison to the S5 gen1. I would have definitely gone for the s5 ii but like I said Panasonic Lumix is MIA in South Africa
Beautiful footage! Two questions: 1) How did you get the low-angle perspective on some of these shoots, like the elephant shot? Were you in a vehicle? 2) Did you use an ND filter? If not, what shutter speed and aperture were you at to get properly exposed? Thanks for the beautiful video.
Thanks a lot ! 1) yes in a car with windows opened as we could not be out (risk to be killed haha) and sometimes I went out "the body" 2) yes always ! I used K&F and Haida filters

@@wildlifehouse You are really welcome. Regarding your question on my page, I knew Romain's work was precisely answer it , as he has also been working with the Sigma lens with the S5II for this shoot ;-) And I agree, those images are stunning ! It really makes me want to visit South Africa again ! :)
