I try to keep my children away from the pollution of TV and other media. As a black parent, I have instructed them that they must be intellectually, emotionally, prepared to "confront" a world that will reject them. They receive a daily diet of Dr. Carr's reading list of books. To all black parents, follow me, please! Our black children must have the proper armor to do battle in this world.

This video came up in my suggested and I'm super thankful I stumbled across it. I've been a fan of Dr. Carr for years and I've always wanted an online curriculum to help me learn more about African history. I'm going to sign up for a year and go through all of the courses offered on the site. Thanks for putting this together!
Mt. Rushmore, Stone Mountain, etc is the same as an animal in the wild marking its territories as IT wanders. With no regard to the territorial inhabitants indigenous to the respective areas.

He is dropping divisive history. He should be discussing how in 2021, no one is holding you down to achieve but what I find funny with "these" so-called gurus is they love to invoke America's past not to teach you about the past but to connect it to some "opinionated" belief that you as a black person live in a systematically racial country.
