In turn, HMOs, hospitals, doctors (some), suppliers and pharmaceutical companies jacked up their prices - more greed. With *_that_* "excuse" in-hand, the insurers jacked up their rates even higher. In short, there was no regulatory cap in ACA to prevent artificial increases like these. All of the other claims about the failings of ACA, like extreme increases in services, are window-dressing designed to manipulate simple-minded people - on both sides. If you give a greedy corporate executive the opportunity to pad their quarterly numbers and "earn" a bigger bonus, then don't be *_FUCKING_* surprised when they do exactly that. BUT, before Obamacare, premiums were high, AND YOU STILL HAD TO PAY AN ARM AND A LEG FOR EVERYTHING- if you had an independent healthcare plan, because where you worked didn't offer insurance. AND THAT SUCKED. I had great insurance when I worked for a restaurant company in the 90's-2002. Then I worked for an independent restaurant that had no insurance. Paid, around $50K out of pocket for 2 C-Sections. That sucked. So, actually, even with the high premium of ACA- that sucked less. Still, a "plan" that strips it all away IS NOT A HEALTHCARE PLAN, IS NOT WHAT GRUMPY TRUMPY PROMISED, & IS WHAT REALLY SUCKS.

There is only one asnwer to healthcare and that is the single payer plan like Medicare. Everyone, including the poor, have to contribute though it can be pro-rated acording to income. We can't keep paying for expensive health care for people who just produce kids so they need to agree to birth control and pay some money. Our drug prices so we can use the same pricing as Canada. Just tell the drug companies that, give us the same price as Canada. Isn't that simple. Medicare will continue to be paid for as an extra tax on income until retirement, as it is now. This may need some upgraded funding later but that is easy as well. This could be done by allocating a percentage of lottery sales or a few cents of extra gasoline tax and putting a lifetime cap on costs. It is stupid to pay a couple million dollars to save a 75 or 80 year old person to live another year or less. Include assisted suicide for those with incurable disease and who are suffering Put away (or to sleep as we say for animals) anyone who's demtia is so bad they don't even know who they are. Hopefully, we will have cures in the near future and this will no longer be needed for most cases. There are many solutions if people had any intelligence and without religion getting in the way.

Yes, Obamacare/ACA sucks. Premiums are high. BUT, before Obamacare, premiums were high, AND YOU STILL HAD TO PAY AN ARM AND A LEG FOR EVERYTHING- if you had an independent healthcare plan, because where you worked didn't offer insurance. AND THAT SUCKED. I had great insurance when I worked for a restaurant company in the 90's-2002. Then I worked for an independent restaurant that had no insurance. Paid, around $50K out of pocket for 2 C-Sections. That sucked. So, actually, even with the high premium of ACA- that sucked less.
Still, a "plan" that strips it all away IS NOT A HEALTHCARE PLAN, IS NOT WHAT GRUMPY TRUMPY PROMISED, & IS WHAT REALLY SUCKS.
in 1962 ,in Canada the province of Saskatchewan began the fight for healthcare in Canada,,,, Doctors went on strike etc,,. By 1968 Canada had government controlled universal single payer in place,.. left wingers fought and won Saskatchewan ,,.then it moved onwards for the rest of provinces ....Point

emergency nurse here. Yes people abused the ED because they had no primary doctor. Lived in Massachusetts and we had mandatory health care from Romney before the rest. It got better. If I am not mistaken, the ACA law passed in 2010, March 23 I believe. The Marketplace for the ACA didn't start until 2014. Do I have that correct? So making fun of 64 days, really.

Technically Obama had very little public service before becoming president so he was pretty much an outsider as well on many counts. Anyway, the difference - Obama had integrity and an interest in beneficence and Trump thrives on dishonesty and ruthlessness.

There is only one asnwer to healthcare and that is the single payer plan like Medicare. Everyone, including the poor, have to contribute though it can be pro-rated acording to income. We can't keep paying for expensive health care for people who just produce kids so they need to agree to birth control and pay some money. Our drug prices so we can use the same pricing as Canada. Just tell the drug companies that, give us the same price as Canada. Isn't that simple. Medicare will continue to be paid for as an extra tax on income until retirement, as it is now. This may need some upgraded funding later but that is easy as well. This could be done by allocating a percentage of lottery sales or a few cents of extra gasoline tax and putting a lifetime cap on costs. It is stupid to pay a couple million dollars to save a 75 or 80 year old person to live another year or less. Include assisted suicide for those with incurable disease and who are suffering Put away (or to sleep as we say for animals) anyone who's demtia is so bad they don't even know who they are. Hopefully, we will have cures in the near future and this will no longer be needed for most cases. There are many solutions if people had any intelligence and without religion getting in the way.

Thats's like saying "middle classed payed mored and their not seeing there children get any smarter". Yeah so what? Why is everyone willing to pay for everone to get an education but not health care? Public education from nursery until higher education is socialism. But they don't care because how can a millionaire get richer if he doesn't have educated people to make money off of? They care about providing for society then. Do you think everyone comes out there mum knowing how to read and write.? It's the same logic with recycling. It costs lots of money but rich people are willing to pay for it. Why? because it affects them. They cant enjoy their money if they are too sick to do so. And they can't use people to make money if they are too sick due to some epidemic to work. Why are innoculations becoming compulsory? Because we live together in a scoiety. FFS.

We are all very different and everyone should have a different role in society and people who do well should make more money but ffs just make sure the people who are otherwise unable to become succesful or rich don't fucking die on the street while people walk by. Why is it so hard to Americans that BOTH candidates lied but each lied about different issues- one about issues liberals cared about the other conservatives. As a result, both sides of this argument are doing the same thing- accusing the other side of lying while tricking themselves the believe their own side isn't really on the same scale of dishonesty.
Mr. Schalapp couldn't wait to start bashing Hillary. On the first question he deflected, moving instead to start complaining about Hillary, instead of answering. I didn't have any hope that this interview would get any better from there on out.
It's always interesting to listen to Trump supporters continue to deny reality, in the face of reality. They continue to rationalize, avoid the truth, and exhibit a total inability to simply admit: "Geeze was I fooled by this con man." Then they must convince themselves that credibility is no longer important for a public figure.
