Worth noting, when adding commands to hot corners, if you hold down option/command/control or even all at the same time, you can activate what you choose in any corner while holding that particular key(s) so it doesn't accidentally go off!
My favourite safari shortcuts are option-command-left 0r right arrow for navigating through tabs and command-shift-T for opening the last closed window. Also I really found useful tips in this video thanks
I really thought I was going into come into this video knowing all of these tips but literally in the first tip I found something new. Although I normally use my laptop with a monitor, I'm sure when I'm on the go this should be of great help!
For the first tip you need to know that is not possible to fast switch between different desktops anymore. Swiping through the desktops use the same 3 Finger gesture. So you need to choose between these two features.
Just to add to the trackpad functions. (Mission Control) - 4 fingers swipe up motion on trackpad. (Desktop View) - 5 fingers spread out motion on a trackpad to reveal the desktop similarly to (Command + F3) Also with a 4 fingers swipe to the right or to the left motion to switch between desktops, if youre working with multiple desktops on a Mac.
Just stumbled in this video and you are amazing! Just got my MBP 14 a couple of weeks now and looking for contents just like this video, just find a lot of people peddling a lot of apps. You are amazing, funny and everything is short and nice. Keep doing more. Thanks
I use Reflector to wirelessly mirror to mac using airplay. It was $14.99 but I think the most recent version is $20. I stopped upgrading after version 3 bc it did everything I need from it. I love it bc it’s a onetime purchase & the dev behind it started very small & has grown to a full dev company.
For the 3-Finger-Drag tip; If you don't see "Trackpad Options" under Pointer Control in Accessibility, make sure your Trackpad is on and paired or plugged into your mac and then try again. Sadly Apple now requires you to have a Trackpad with Force Touch to continue using this feature, so if you're like me with an older Apple Trackpad the 3-finger-drag wont show as an option :(
When you enable "Three finger drag" which is an accessibility setting, then you can't use Mission control and Desktop switch gestures with 3 finger swipes, you have to use 4 fingers then !
Very nice info! Also, just so you know, if you do the quick view by pressing the space bar you don’t have to hold it down to go to the next file. Just press the arrow keys while the quick view is active, it’ll change as you cycle through 😊 I always enjoy your videos, ‘preciate what you do for the company!
Wow just finished the video, I knew next to none of these LOL. The image converter, PDF creator, and the granular control over your audio are all going to be three things that I use from now on!
I was just looking for a PDF editor where I could fill out a document and sign it. I settled with a $60 app and it failed to do what I wanted. I gave up, requested a refund, and was going to print the form and fill it out by hand tomorrow. I sat down and started watching this to take my mind off the frustration I had and saw the signature/text add feature in the menu in preview at 7:26. Thanks to you I was able to fill out that form and sign it for FREE. Thanks E.
@@ThisIsE didn’t heard about you until now I found this video on top of my RUclips home page. And I found it at the right time because I actually am planning for MacBook Air M2 which is going to be my first ever Mac, so really excited 🎉
I was very excited to enable that three finger drag mode until I realized that setting switches App Expose and Mission Control features to four fingers. So I decided that I'm using Mission Control much more frequently than dragging windows around so I'm changed it back. Thanks for the tips tho they are great!
Three finger is usually reserved for switching virtual desk spaces. Force press the trackpad already allow you to move windows, and it is a 1 finger solution.
To be fair, the three finger drag used to be in the Trackpad settings, not in accessibility. For some reason, Apple hid that useful feature. I’ve been using that since my 1st mac back in 2010
command plus f3 theres a better way to use it my friend :) this is gonna be cool if you didnt know this... its another type of gesture .. use all 5 fingers and do a zoom out motion fingers in from center and sswipe out
At this point I realise that I should just get used to the option key revealing potentially useful options. 😄 Just use the option key here and there and see if something changes.
For the first tip, I don't understand the fact that you have to use two fingers and do yoga moves to drag around a window. Simply pressing with your index on the top bar of a window and dragging with the same finger works fine and is very simple.

Command Z in safari is terrible. Let’s assume I made i typo or even deleted a word. Usually i can do Cmd Z to undo. BUT NOT IN SAFARI! Cmd Shift T is the common combination to open a latest closed tab, and it does works in Safari. Or you don,t want to use cmd i in Safari.
Great Tips! What about using an external monitor and a Logitech keyboard to use the volume keys? I have a Samsung monitor and I am using a Logitech keyboard but have to always use the toggle on my monitor to lower or raise the volume.. So annoying.
7:07 to move through different windows i used to use 3 fingers and after doing the first time now I need to use 4 I tried to move it back but I doesn't work.
It's ridiculous Apple hides the essential drag features of the trackpad which make it great to begin with! Accessibility/Pointer Control (wtf) /Trackpad Options - I mean, really? I have known these steps for a very long time, and luckily too, as changing these features is a MUST as I can't stand the default "drag" Apple has.
