#Trip-Tip #Beef #SantaMaria
I was stationed in Sicily and did the Sugar Shack Rub on my tri tips for our block party. WINNER WINNER!!!
Native Santa Marian here.
We use Suzie Qs for seasoning for tri tip.
Salt pepper garlic and some other stuff.
Tri-tip is probably my favorite for flavor.
Looks good. I’m watching this right before dinner time
Tri-tip sandwiches or Tri-tip salad are the best!!!
I love pit master privilege.
“Do what you want.”
“You make it just the way you like it.”
😋🤤
As Big Lew would say its your baby you spank it. Good lookin cook fellas.
I would love it to Samantha Fish blues with your video
U got down with the tri tip... the same way i make it at los angels Compton..🍻
Im in Cali near the central coast. I suggest also putting salsa on your sliced pieces of tritip. I usually use pico de gallo or cantina salsa. Thats how they serve it in Santa Maria. Bbq sauce is also used for dipping like was shown
Fellers, nice recipe & I know these are popular out west, in Kentucky you have to ask the butcher to special cut, usually a day ahead, I posted this before you gave the info on locale, you nailed that info
It Smells GUuuut !!
The fact that the Pit Master is wearing Vans, He gets an extra thumbs Up !
Here from Angola 🇦🇴. Tomorrow's Barbecue has been guaranteed 😅👌🙌🙌. Keep it up the good content 👊
The real men. Fantastic atmosphere because it´s guuuuuuuuuud.
Do it just the way you want it. Love it. This is a staple at my pit.
I had my first few tri tips just last week here in Michigan. first time ever seeing them. first 2 I cooked like a steak, second 2 I slow cooked like a Brisket. OH MY LORD they were incredible!!!
I love these guys
The fun of making delicious food by removing unnecessary parts of meat.😊
The eyes and ears convey the charm of barbecue and stimulate the stomach.🤤
Sharing good food with everyone is an important spice. 😆👍🍺
Another great video Martha and boys,,, thanks for continuing to use my boards. 🤘
IMHO the key to tri-tip is how you slice it.
Tri tips also work for a cheaper substitute for brisket
Tri rips are always more expensive than brisket per pound.
@@muzaaaaak not here, brisket always a dollar more per pound. Tri-tip cheaper than burger most of the time
@@mikenorton62 it's the same here in Ohio
@@mikenorton62 lemme know where and I’ll buy it up! Here in CA, tri tip is coveted. Packer brisket at Costco used to be $3.29# pre Covid. Now it’s up to $4.99# at worst. Hope you cook some tri tips. They’re a cross between a steak and a roast. Check out Santa Maria style TT for a great recipe. Enjoy!
@@richardrush4841 what’s brisket cost by you? I’m guessing TT is still unknown by you so demand is lower. Hopefully you enjoy a good TT. Some of the best sandwiches you can have IMO.
The coffee bark Tri Tip is my go to for making a great impression.
Its BBQ season for this wolf all year around.
Deja Vu
Aw man I can smell it and it smells so good 🤤💯
Love me some tri-tip, especially with the current price of brisket. Not so keen on the coffee rub stuff though.
I use a homemade espresso rub on pork chops, and I really like it. I’ve never tried it on beef though. Usually I just use salt and pepper for the cow.
Love the channel boss!

Pro Tip...for smaller amounts of espresso buy espresso in the ese paper, 7 grams each and they are foil wrapped so they stay fresh for up to 3 years.
😎👍
👍👍

Espresso. Not expresso.

bbq season only lasts 365 days out of the year
Huh, This is the second time I've watched this. The first one was taken down for some reason......
To done
Well that's not the way we do it in Santa Maria California SO WTF.
Up next: David Macek faces harsh reality that there’s more than one way to do something….
As my mom would say.
Close the coffee can, it's losing it's strength.
