IOM Director General on IOM’s 70 Year History

IOM started 70 years ago as the Provisional Intergovernmental Committee for the Movement of Migrants from Europe.
The Organization has had several name and programme expansions since then, but one thing remains the same, IOM continues to give hope to millions of people on the move.
