Verve is a British Band and their song Bittersweet Symphony- was a huge hit/ anthem. Ren keep the music but put his own lyrics on it. One member of The Verve sent Ren one of his guitars because he like the retake so much. Ren made a short unboxing the guitar.
Translations for the americans: working class casualties "sleeping rough" (i.e. out on the streets) Mother and the "pram" (short for "perambulator" is a baby stroller) anticlimax is a disappointing conclusion (the opposite of a climax) "out on the lash" is a night of binge drinking cubicle (in the UK) means the toilet stall (not an office space, like in the US) "fell off the track" is taking a wrong direction in life, serving a stretch in juvenile prison (for youths)
our McDonalds out on the motorways (the interstates) have bigger signs. but in most cities restaurants are just in the buildings that they are there and most have limits on how big and how high signage can be. if you are ever in older cities in the US, on the east coast maybe, you'll see the same thing.
@Shon Since you don't mention it, all of Ren's "Retake" videos use other peoples music that he puts his own rap over. Bittersweet Symphony is a '90's song by the band The Verve, and was a big hit at the time. The bass player from The Verve sent Ren a guitar that he showed here: ruclips.net/user/shortsZzZx0YA7U34
Junkie in the (toilet) cubicle, you'd call it a stall probably... that old spoon is usable (you cook heroin in a spoon before injecting it), the junkie dies, his mother cries... then the kid falls off the track (meaning he went of the rails i.e. fell into trouble with the law) and spends a stretch in juvenile detention (prison for kids too young for actual prison)
So I believe the "anticlimax" is I haven't hooked up with anyone. The spoon scheme is really a triple with someone being forced/addicted to work, using a old spoon to cook but also eat. "Kid falls off the tracks bar is them getting trouble and going to jail
@@leanneh5293 I see the fact that some people don't make the link between spoon and heroin as quite optimistic, most of all given the mention of Junkie.
To each their own ;) I think it's a worthy tip-o-the-hat to the original, and clearly The Verve's bassist thought so also since he sent his guitar as a gift to Ren

A cubicle in the UK is the term for a public bathroom stall. He’s standing in one in the video Losing It.
He got gifted a guitar by the bassplayer from The Verve

Old spoon is useable, for cooking heroin.
Serving a stretch in juvenile is serving a jail sentence in a young persons prison.
Knox Hill does a great job breaking down the lyrics
Love your sincere enthusiasm for discovering music. This is a purely feel-good song, and you embodied that.
Really enjoyed this reaction! More Ren please!
The song Symphony " by The Verve was & still is popular.😎
Cubicle, another name for Bathroom Stall. Old Spoon is usable, using Heroin
You should check out the verve video Different but iconic
Heroin user in an office job (cubical), old spoon for cookie it, mother at his funeral
Toilet cubicle at a bar or club was what I figured.

Juvenal rhymed better than juvenile. Cubicle is an office space usually temporary made for each employee.
Public toilets (where junkies shoot up) are separated into cubicles.
It's also a toilet cubicle (bathroom stall)
Juvenal is how he pronounced Juvenile, coz that's the correct word in the UK also it's jst how the brits pronounce it ;)

The spoon reference was about heroin, you heat it up on a spoon before you draw it into a syringe.

I hate the original but love this version. SI from the verve sent him a guitar as he loved it 🖤
Junkie in a cubicle = addict in a office job
In Britain a cubicle is a toilet stall
Junkie=heroine cubicle=toilet
Do you know the original video by the Verve?
😎😎😎
The original was waaaaay better. I don't know who this dude is.
WTF... This one sucks compared to the original.
