With an emulator and EarthBound Save Editor, just start a new game, make a save state, then use the editor to set everyone's XP to 9,999,999 and voila!
you know, that WOULD be an interesting mod for Earthbound: gaining the stat boosts from the 8 sanctuaries as you go to them, rather than all at once at the end
@@Sklibbus I actually attempted to grind. If you go for the crows with sunglasses, you can hunt them for Cookies. You can collect up to 8 then sell them all for $3 dollars each for a total of $24 dollars. Just sell them at the drug store in Onett. I was able to get to level 25 in about 3 days. Then, just beat up the shark gang, get them to drop Hamburgers which sell for more. It's ideal to save money in the game too while leveling up to get stronger. It's faster if you can instant win the weak enemies.
Is it just me or does the music that plays when guygus is as phase three make me really really scared? Like that music activates my fight or flight response

I remember just using noclip to get around. If I could go back I would redo this video and actually use stronger weapons rather than brute force it like a caveman. With that said I have beaten this game with more thought a few times since and yeah those rockets are busted lol.

I did this as well recently. Gave all 4 party members the best equipment. As well as giant teddy bears, kraken soups, large pizzas and shit. Was pretty fun.

That Carbon/Diamond Dog battle was the toughest in the game.
Every time I replay that's the one fight that I always struggle with. Imo every other boss in the game (I'll even include Mother 3) is much easier.

ItsJJstyles [GD] im playing through again and he is quite powerful, I was destroyed by him then beat him next try
i also tried the lvl 99 cheat but my game crashed when i checked the partys' status after eating the magic cake and getting Poo
its probably from the snes not being able to handle all of them being level 99 and so it cannot load the status cuz it eats up all the memory
