Watched videos like the one of how QBs from the Class of 2022 are doing and listened about him as one of them. Coincidentally on the same day as this game happening on which I had no idea about until I found this on the TV guide and clicked to watch this.
I expected him to have a decent NFL career when he came out. Once he warmed up today…he became decisive and on time with all his throws…and when his reads weren’t clear or on time…he was able to create time with his legs.
I'll watch the UFL regularly once they give Tampa back a team. XFL had the Vipers. We had a great turnout for home games before Covid and then the league going belly up. USFL(or whatever it was)we had the Bandits. Was looking forward to when they let them play their games in Tampa instead of Birmingham, AL. but in both cases they either got rid of the team or changed the city they are associated with. Big time bummer. The NFL and College off seasons now have a lot going on so I am pretty comtent watching stuff related to that and end up missing UFL games because I don't have a vested interest. Not one of those fans that picks a team they think is coolest and then roots for them. I'll probably end up catching the occasional game when it gets towards the end of the season and we know who the top dogs and then catch a game when they face off. Or if there is a player who is lighting up the league I may check them out. All that's a long way of just saying, UFL give Tampa a team damnit! 😅 Preferably the Bandits! They were around for awhile back in the OLD days of USFL. Which was why a lot of Tampa people were stoked about having them back.
Same with my seadragons 😂 bring them back. Ima still support but not like I did last year gives back our team . They don’t have any teams on the west coast!
Everyone in the comments acting like he got screwed in the nfl. Y'all are laughable. You do understand everyone in the ufl would be practice squad players at best in the nfl. The talent level is totally different. The panthers did not screw him over. Bryce young is 10x the qb matt coral is. Regardless if the panthers team is horrible. I'm seeing comments like matt coral was gonna be cam newton lol. No one in their right mind would pick matt corall over the #1 pick of the NFL draft. He threw for 200 yards in the UFL and y'all think this dude should be a starter in the NFL? That's crazy. Aj mccaran is considered the best qb in ufl and that dude has been a 3rd string qb in the NFL for like a decade. He literally was the Bengals 3rd string qb this year. Then he wanted to be released so he can play in the ufl. Similar thing with pj walker. He was good in xfl or whatever then came in the nfl and was nothing more than a back up. The ufl is basically the G league for football.
