  • So in this series I am covering bands that I have seen at the legendary Nottingham Rock City over the years (2002-2019). The venue recently had a new floor fitted and upcycled the old flooring into commemorative plaques... awesome! You can kind of make them out in the frame behind me, displayed along with a whole load of tickets, photos and plectrums. Anyhow, I figured this (combined with the fact that the venue will be turning forty next year) could make for a good theme behind what songs I choose to cover next.
So representing the year 2007, it's The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret by Queens of the Stone Age (taken from their 2000 album, Rated R). Play along with the bass tablature at the bottom of the screen or click the link below for the full tab PDF. Enjoy!

Catching that gritty tone m8! Great cover and I agree to your spoken intro. I can still remember my obsession of Queens of the Stone Age. Especially before the age of iPods and streaming I felt ecstasy every time No One Knows aired on radio or MTV
