Really well done unboxing and walk through on the new platform. I like losi and there attention to detail on some of there rigs . I have a heavily modified son of a digger it looks so scale .would be awesome to see you upgrading the motor esc and seeing what you get out of it .
I did learn something today when you first get the car the tires have a gloss on them if you're going to track race you definitely want to go on a parking lot and stuff these tires up pretty good so they're not shiny that's what I did and I get great traction with the Goodyear Tires no complaints and it's really good that the clay doesn't build up at all very little on the inside edges of the back tires but really I'm talking millimeter very impressed
dang bro. im just getting my Grom fast. man oh man, she's a ripper. i did what you did to your grom, but had to go with the 4500. i been wanting some kinda street rig. maybe i'll start with this. great vid, cant wait to see it in action.
@@richduperbash2966 man that’s awesome. I’ve been looking for a treatable tire that’s quality for my Mojave we do on road trophy truck style on road with lil jumps and it chews the knobs down
Good luck trying to find one hobby shop sold out quick as s*** mines on backorder at least I got one for now but I want them all LOL that way my friends have no excuses
actually I don't think it's that good , only having a brushed motor , and half of the internal differentials are plastic . it isn't exactly in the same league as a basic LC RACING EMB-RA 3S RALLY CAR on performance , handling , with all metal drive train parts quality 🤔 , and buy the time you spent upgrading the losi , you'll have spent more money on it than a 3S LC CING EMB-RA RALLY initially costs to purchase 🤔 .
We'll see. My guess is the handling and durability will be awesome. The all metal upgraded diffs are only 40$ (set of 2) and brushless upgrades are cheap at this scale. The base design is solid 👌
@richduperbash2966 still it's going to COST you more than an LC RACING EMB-RA RALLY CAR , by the time the losi has a brushless motor , a brushless ESC , and all metal drive train component replacement 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not overly worried about upgrade costs at this scale. This hobby is pricey regardless 😂. Run what brand fits your budget of course and whatever car tickles your fancy. Just because a car costs less, doesn't mean it's a better value or better performing. Modifying is most satisfying for me as a hobbyist and finding a rigs potential. That's my plan with this one 🍻
@@ianjohnhorwood2605 sure it could have better specs out of the box, but that’s not why a lot of us are excited about it. Out of the box, it is a fantastic club racing rig. It’s plenty fast to have fun, easy enough for your grandma to drive, and any parking lot can be a racetrack. Grow the hobby, there’s enough high dollar RCs out there already.
Great looking car, well made of course. We love the Groms! Looking forward to see it go!!
Pretty cool! The Mojave is big for a Grom, didn't realize this was even bigger 👀
Yeah the size is perfect 😍. Should be a lightweight screamer with the right setup 🍻

That is bad ass. Really great detail.
Yeah they killed it with the design and details 👀
That's sick Rich!! Love you brother ❤
Thank you Brother Tom 😍

Thanks Brother 🤗. This is a sweet street rig for the price. Should absolutely rip with a brushless conversion and taller gearing 🚀🚀
Very nice! Looks fun! Vroom vroom 🏎️ 💨💨💨
She's gonna rip hard with a brushless setup 😱😂
Great. I am upgrading my HPI WR8 Flux Ken Block Dubai version. This was a very nice car!😎
I still can't believe Ken Block is gone 😭. He made such an impact on motorsports 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 Same... Yes he was a great Man. Miss him😔
1st, boom!
It's practically an arrma, even the wheel hexes from the other groms fit.
That's why I grabbed it. It's speed minded on the proven GROM platform.
@richduperbash2966 got my Nascar running 4s on a 4400 kv castle. 16t pinion. Haven't had a GPS on it yet but it's insane
Nice 😱🚀🚀
@@richduperbash2966 do you know where to find 0.5 mod pinions for it? 1/8 bore?
Grom is just so boring to me, it’s just weak and slow and cheap. But hey if there’s a market… who am I to blow against the wind 🤷🏼♂️
Same tire dimension as the mini b but it don't fit over the nascar hub waiting for other companies to make upgrades 😮😎👍
I've already put the heat sink on the motor because it does get hot😮😁
Typhon arms and different boddy
The arms and links are shorter 🤔. Haven't measured, but with my eye ruler 😂
How do the tires compare in size to the Mojave!?
They're a bit smaller diameter.

Let's see what you can do with this car!!
Can't wait to rip this little guy brushless geared up on 3s 😍
Anyone selling a talion,outcast 6s? Im interested
1/12 scale
So weird they didnt just call this one an arrma also lol
I think Losi has the stronger association to racing 🤗
@richduperbash2966 makes sense then

You nailed it Brother 👊. Target audience is the general public 🍻
