    The ability to be type c 60w charged alone is super cool, but being able to 60w usb C AND an ac adapter together? Amazing.

    Great information and thank you for sharing your reviews!
    Aaron, what is your opinion about the two different types of batteries that are used in these portable power stations - the lithium-ion battery and the lithium iron phosphate (LifePO4)? The battery life of each type is quite different according to the formation that I have read. The first type lasts around 3 years and the LifePO4 lasts around ten years. Seems like the 10 year battery types would have a big advantage but maybe I am missing something …

      Well, I don't have much of an opinion other than what you've already stated. Lithium-ion is generally lighter per watt-hour which is why its still more commonly used where weight is a concern.

    How long do you think it can run the fans for? Nonstop? Thanks :)

      Assuming an 80% efficient DC->AC inverter, a battery capacity of 293wh and a 33w power draw, we're looking at 7.1 hours.

  • @bwilsonscuba

    So, if I was to get one and run a cpap machine and a fan, I should have less than three hours of battery time. Cause it would be around 100 watts of power for both. Is this right?

  • @McBicbic
    @McBicbic 3 года назад

    It claims to have a 500W peak AC output, so it's too bad it couldn't be used with your frother. Maybe it was pulling too much for too long. I wonder what types of devices only need to pull that peak power for a second or two before going down to what the jackery can handle.

      Probably mostly motor driven things that need a short burst of high power to start.

    Can a Jackery be the primary power source 24/7 (minus recharging it) for a car dash cam even in hot climates?
    Can a Jackery be left plugged in at full charge in a home office in case of a power failure to jump in during the outage to keep a computer powered on?
    Thank you.

    How long you been to run a mini refrigerator Non-Stop before the battery died

    • @aaronstestlab
      @aaronstestlab  Год назад

      Have never run a mini fridge. But you can calc the runtime for pretty much anything by taking the size of the battery and multiplying it by about .9(to compensate for efficiency losses) and then divide the result by the draw of the device. For example, a 300Wh battery could run a 90W mini fridge for about 3 hours.

    How many hours will this last if I plug a regular house lamp with a 60w light bulb ? Before I would have to recharge ?

    • @aaronstestlab
      @aaronstestlab  2 года назад +1

      Assuming an 80% DC-AC conversion, 3.9 hours. Switch that to a 60w equivalent LED that only draws 10w and now you've got 23 hours.
