Cannot wait for the Age of Bronze team to complete their campaign mode for Rome II. They've done such an amazing job with the custom battles and no doubt Surreal will have a fantastic series on it
@@SurrealBeliefs The campaign is probably at least 6 months off at the moment but they already have 18 playable factions like the Hatti, Egypt, Mycenae, Elam, Assyria, Babylon even European tribes like the Andronovo Culture and India in the form of Kamboja.
Your editing for total war content in your campaign is gold. I love cinematic battles and showing us the replays as you progress through the campaign is much appreciated. Been watching your content since last day of the third age 😆
Odysseus is my op hero. Being invisible and auto-win nearly every battle without fighting or if you do you have op missile units so that the enemy doesn't even reach your army. Its glorious. But still, love your videos. Edit: And you're absolutely right about the score in the game. One of the best in the series.
I had no idea they were going to include Memnon! Legitimately I had no idea they were going to acknowledge any of this part of the mythology. Even the books I've read don't include him!
Can you imagine if they made like...a south mexico DLC? Maya, Inkas, Aztec, Zapotec, etc. Imagine the mythical creatures they would have! Well...many would probably have to be made up, because we don't know that much about them... but, imagine this. There's a godess, called Itzpapalotl, obsidian butterfly. She's a skeleton with butterfly wings (possibly made of obsidian, I dunno ,that's how I imagine her atleast). Imagine having a unit of flying skeletons with obsidian butterfly wings, ain't that the most metal thing?

This version is the Roman version of Memnon who they believed that Memnon hailed from Africa. The Romans reimagined romanticized and rationalized Hellenic myths. In the original Hellenic source Memnon is NOT described believed or depicted as a Nubian Sub Saharan African in Hellenic mythology and culture. And the Mythical Kingdom of Aethiopia from Hellenic Mythology has nothing to do with Africa.

Fan of VC4, and I think your doing great at it as I'm still watching. So if you do or have PC VR, do you think Valkyria Chronicles 5 in VR would be amazing? I think it would be... Cheers mate.
If you like bronze-age mythology, cool mythological units and gods etc, you may want to check out Dominions 5. It's a one of a kind strategic game, where you represent a nation and it's pretender God and fight other nations with their Gods for supremacy. It's really fun, battles ranging from small skirmishes to hundreds of troops on each side. It's the deepest strategy game I know (at least in multiplayer), and very fun and thematic. You want to have a look at early age Pangaea, Arcoscephale and Hinnom and see if any of those inspire you - or go crazy with any other faction, from Yomi (Oni Kings - Japanese Demon nation) to Niefelheim to Mictlan (Aztec blood sacrifice nation) and on and on... What I like most is combat. You set up your armies (position, orders, commands/spells for leaders) then they'll fight it out. Some of the best magic in any game I know too.
