Hi folks, reason for my absence is here. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx9TO6qU4tSR9Bv77bhv6VWjVhnnfRyWul This video I finished a couple of weeks ago and just got to wrap up today. This is sponsored by WeHype for Creative Assembly -- if you click on this link to check out the game, they know you've seen it through me and it's how you can directly support the channel. After Christmas holidays and dealing with my family matter, I'll be back with Bannerlord and Total War.
Secondly, I do a battle live for the first one and post-commentary for the second two. You can vote on which format you prefer if you finish the episode and want to help choose what format I go with. Here's the poll: www.strawpoll.me/45897325
@@SurrealBeliefs voted for only major battles to be cinematic however i'd be totally fine with all live battles if that's easier to make (which i assume it is). i love the cinematic battles but i love more your story telling and involving the community as custom heroes and recently even as voice actors
You can do a mix of both cinematic and live battles like with minor settlements/battles you can do it live and give us an insight into how you play, the cinematic battles for sieges and major battles and quest battles that are in warhammer
I've always loved your cinematic battles which really made you unique and different from other content creators but a mix up of live battles once in a while would also be great!
My grandmother just passed away. She read the Odyssey to me when I was little, (A lighter version with pictures) so this now reminds me of her. Thank you.
I prefer the cinematic battles for your campaign as I feel you have less to micromanage at one time. You can focus on gameplay on your time and then commentary on your strategy afterwards. However, I've always loved your content regardless and am happy with whatever you decide!
To be honest I just like seeing your pre battle set up because that helps me learn the game but after that you can switch a cinematic battle since I find those more entertaining.
so, question, how does this horde system compare to the one in total warhammer 2? compared to nakai, chaos or the new beastmen, which is better? also, the cinematic battles are nice, but im a noob at total war so sometimes seeing a live battle is cool cuz maybe i learn something neat
First off...Ciao Matt My deepest sympathies!! In this times of sorrow I'd love to share the words of A.L.FRINK like if where mine, from his ""The Rose Beyond The Wall "". I thank you for taking the time to think about us too, it's very much appreciated but your family's and yourself wellbeing gets priority!! Now to your question... in my humble opinion live battles are overall best!! While the cinematics could be used to edit some sort of highlights to make everyone happy! But of course they are fundamentals when it comes to your cool intro and/or your amazing storytelling !! Take care mate.
I think that the battle cinematography should come down to the specific battle itself. If you feel a battle has a certain dramatic or otherwise epic element, then do it cinematically. If the battle is a scuffle or otherwise "plain," then a live version may be more appropriate so we can not only see your decisions in real-time but also ensure that you don't rush towards a burn-out by having to rewatch and edit every single battle you manually fight. My 2 cents, sent with love.
With cinematic you have time to focus on the battle with out talking which can lower the lose of troops and that will slow the progress of the story tho saying that it is more time in editing to make the video then live combat I wouldn't mind a mix of live and cinematic live with the lower end battles that are necessary to preserve troops cinematics on the larger battles that you would need more concentration with but you do what you feel that would be best for you. I have been watching you're work for a few years now and loved all of it

It's ok, you need to focus on you and your family. Gaming is fun, but real life is important too.

I slow down fun battles with almost every game possible, someone put effort into those animations for us to enjoy.
Take the time you need.

You can do both.. cinematic for when there aren't much to talk about. live action for when there are stuff to talk about.
I would prefer cinematic battles as its more entertaining.
This campaign is the reason Memnon was considered second only to Achilles in martial capability.
Merry Christmas surreal
