Well, I felt good about supporting this lady. I’d rather pay 100k for a bracelet to help a local elderly woman than spend 300k at a restaurant in Kuta owned by a foreigner.
For some reason, nobody calls a 300k breakfast in Kuta a scam, but when I pay a poor local lady 100k, I get torn apart in the comments 😅 I don’t get it-or let’s say I understand, but I disagree with it 🤷♂️

Lombok is indeed beautiful and hopefully the natural beauty of this island will not be damaged.Please explore Gili Gede Island, the island is quite quiet and rarely known by tourists, even though the island is very beautiful, especially for snorkeling and going around the island. On this island there is also a quite large villa.

North or east lombok less crowded. Like sembalun. Lombok food Taliwang chicken, pelecing kangkung, Sailing lombok to labuan bajo. Swim with whale sharks, snorkel, komodo island, etc. Have fun

@@SP-vo4vy If u take sailing trip Lombok to Labuan Bajo (Komodo) u will pass Teluk (Bay) Saleh at sumbawa island , usually there are some whale sharks & u can swim with them
Or another place swim whale sharks at Botubarani, Gorontalo

Yes, Lombok is a choice for a quiet trip because not many tourists go there, while Bali is a choice for those who like crowds.
To be honest, I'm the type of person who likes to go on holiday to places that aren't yet well-known, but you have to understand that Lombok can't provide facilities like those in Bali, such as beach clubs / hotel.
but yeah both places are quite fun, I just went there 2 weeks ago
Yes I see your point here. Bali seems much more developed, but it comes at price. I mean there are much more tourists there.
I'm sure you've only visited south Bali, try going to the north and east of Bali which are far from the tourist areas, there you will find the real Bali.

you should trying whoosh the first fast train in south east Asia from Jakarta to come to bandung,Indonesia.
Bandung is located on west Java and this is the largest population province in Indonesia with 50+ Millions people.
One of the most beautiful nature you should visit in bandung is white crater.

i have been to lombok around 7 years ago… before all the developments in kuta and they were just starting the construction for mandalika beach.. it was great as they just huilt a new road / high way around the island.. we were the only ones around, only locals. i really hope lombok will not fuck it up! i hope they can develop and grow naturally and with respect to nature and culture

I've watched quite a few travel videos lately from Bali and Lombok.. I can honestly say that I'm so happy that I got to see those places in the late 90s.. 2003 was the last time I went to Bali. Bingin (paradise on earth) used to have 5 warungs and now it`s like 60 😮
