Well, P ranks aren't the best of the best. There's the "HOLY SHIT!" final judgment for 95%ing the game in under 4h, and there's clothes that you get for reaching the true ending in under 2h15m. Also Snotty Approved, which preys on the player's negligence.

I didnt know you played pizza tower! And yes, I made lots of mistakes when p ranking john gutter too. I was still new at the game. I did the 0:55 blunder so many times you couldn't believe it.
I honestly found the fork knights to be the P rank killer since they will damage you if you don’t pick up enough speed and they often spawn while your picking up speed for a Mach run. But if you want a friendly tip against mini johns use grab as soon as they spawn. The grab has a very generous range and the johns give you enough time to grab them before they attack
@@cooldude9798 you dont have enough time to turn around so what i do is go off the ledge normally then slide dash again into the enemy and kill it instantly once i start mach running
I love the moments where you’re barreling through the level, and then the music cuts out, and you softly “doink” against the wall. Especially if the music has been cut out for a while, and consecutive doinks as well.

For a video idea: could you show off every character with their names, backstories (if they have one) and inspiration for having these characters in your 50 ways series? Kind of like on part 16 in your pinned comment, perhaps? It would be great to get to know them all.
This shows exactly how lenient the combo timer can be sometimes. It’s not as demanding as some videos make it look. It’s not easy though, it’s still a huge challenge. Just know how to recover from screwups before your combo drops, and you’re already taking a huge step forward.
John Gutter is super forgiving since it's the first level in the game. Many of the toppings and enemies are close to each other, so you could miss some and still get the rest to save the combo
I'll give some pointers for anyone else who wants to learn: You don't need to hold left or right while holding run button, use them instead to help you turn. 1:05 You can instead just dash through the wall rather than running. When you start running, don't bother just holding the run button. Instead, use a downforward dash to get more speed. In this level's case, I'd just stick to jump dashing towards the first enemy. 1:30 I advise taunting so you parry this guy and just kill him immediately after, it may waste a second or two but it helps keep your combo meter up and that's the most important part of P rank. 1:33 I advise using a super taunt here instead and just jump and ground pounding as far to the left instead, then run into the wall on the right to secure the final secret. Last but not least, a mistake here and there (even a missed enemy) will never hurt a run as bad as losing your combo early. Picking up collectibles and those little clocks help keep your combo up so just try to raise it as high as possible in the first lap and grab every secret too so you get P rank.
I remember when I first P ranked this level. The fork knight that spawns at that one part I’m the level was the Bain of my life. Btw are you gonna attempt P ranking war?
A lot of the mistakes in this can actually be easily recovered, during his mistakes where he misses the room for lap 2 portal and climbs the wall he can easily ground slam follow by a Mach run start up and still make it in the portal without losing the combo meter. I actually did the same in one of my runs but the combo can be pretty forgiving in most cases

P Ranking Pizza Tower can seem like it has a pretty high skill entry, but honestly, it’s more so a game of memory and a good understanding of Peppino’s controls. You play through a level a few times to get a good understanding of what’s where and how to deal with it when it comes along, then you start going for the P rank, while still learning new things about how to approach the level. As for the skill side, as long as you understand Mr. Spaghetti’s core move set, you know how to quick start and quick stop when needed, and have the foresight to see most oncoming 1 block tall spaces and roll under them, you should be all set to be able to P rank the entire game. It’ll take a while, but of course it will. No matter how long it takes, It’s still absolutely possible.
Your brain makes sense of it if you're in control. It took me around 10 hours to master the controls, I am on hour 35 as of typing this (trying to 101% the game)

You can crouch glide to bash the enemy and then turn around before running off the ledge.
