For future reference... Those rubber bands are to hold your needle bar back from the bend you put in it to keep your needle on the bottom of your tube.
Thank you for your interest in Basic Fundamentals of Modern Tattoo Bill K. Thank you for your Purchase of the book. We appreciate your support, and we will continue to provide a forum and website where ANYONE can learn to tattoo. Thank you for bringing attention to our cause. Without people like you promoting our books and products, we would not be where we are today. Thanks!
There is a great book called Basic Fundamentals of Modern Tattoo, it has sold over 80,000 copies. There is also a really good beginner DVD called welcome tattoo. And You can google a free forum called TeachMeToTattoo
The only positive of this channel, is that there is no evidence he ever used this "gun". Hey dummy, throw that away, and don't ever even think of tattooing again. I just saved lives!
Hey!! I just wanted to know if you could help me with this problem I have,I watched a video on how to assemble a tattoo gun, buuut I turned it on and nothing is working,:/ so please help me?
And my main point was that while the person this video may know what they are talking about, they should research what the proper terminology is so that they at least spread the correct information for someone who will take this artform seriously. As I said previously, this is someone's life we become responsible for. and that's serious business. That's why doctors go to school for so many years and work under people who can help them correct their mistakes and learn to preserve life.
erm that needle looked oxidised to me..... no one else see that ....... blunt hooked or black ended should not be used and add that also to the fact he was touching the needle.... breaking all rules here.... n Wat machine was he setting up colour or lining
You should never touch a metal grip, unless you have the proper sterilization equipment. Without an autoclave, a metal grip will hold and spread bacteria and disease... one use disposables are the best way to go. Guessing that your not a pro, u should always wear gloves when handling your machine, Id advise machine bags since u cant sterilize your machine after use as well. Take the best care possible to keep everything as clean as possible.
A.) I wasn't saying it to be mean and selfish. I'm saying that without proper knowledge or coverage of cross contamination processes, people can contract diseases there's no cure for. Learn the precautions and follow them. That's someone's life you become responsible for. B.) It's all about the proper spreading of knowledge, not the denial of it. Tattoo schools are a joke. you cant teach someone to tattoo in weeks. 1 way to learn: apprenticeship. master trains. student learns. at least a year
seriously you don't get this shit in any other industry. I've been a music teacher for years, I obviously know that whilst its an intricate artform it doesn't leave you with permenant marks; but I'd like to draw the parellel all the same: What would you think if I told anyone interested in beginning on an instrument "DERP NO YOU WILL SOUND SHIT DON'T EVEN TRY TO LEARN JUST LEAVE IT TO THE PROS"
i just started, even i learned to insert your needle difrent, also it is more easy to put you top hat grommit first on the needle, then place the needle on your armature bar and bend your needle, also what is wrong with his tube sticking out so far, cant he put it a litle more in the grip... also what is wrong with your front spring setting, and your contact screw eagle....since i saw you put in a round liner its totaly messed up dude. it looks like your going to use shader and you wil stil need to change the settings of your contact screw. and most importand, its not a gun, and its not yet time to rock n roll for you, i hope by now being 5 years further you learn this, maybe upload a new video.
ruclips.net/user/TATTOOTRAINING he cuts out a lot of the bullshit that the industry wants you to believe. he constantly uploads. everything he has posted is for a reason. Has an intricate knowledge of how things work, probably moreso than most people who tattoo. I've been tattooing going on a decade, and this is one of the best channels I've come across recently if people really want to learn. but he does expect you to have a knowledge base and to be responsible.
1 your back stem is to long. 2 needles should not stick out of the end of the tip. and finally you'd make hamburger of somebody's skin with that machine.
I've been in the business twenty four years and I feel sorry for the people saying I'm a beginning artist and I found this information helpful. Stop! There is nothing helpful in this video at all.
Oh and im really surprised no one ....not even the so called pro's Bill K you too....Didnt say anything or even notice this clown didnt even tell anyone the correct position of the needle bar!!! Its supposed to be on top of the grouping..Look.....At 6.21..Why is it on the bottom...This IS a Parody!! Im Laughing....bwahahahaha god job saladbrain,,funny video...you should apply for Comedy Central.
adjustment is way off on the machine, the armature contact is at like 35-45 degrees should be closer to 75-85. the prongs are called a clip cord, the other pulg in is rca to the power unit. let me guess you bought a kit and now know how to tattoo by a dvd you watched with the kit. it has shitty coils, steel based alloy frame painted, cheap cheap build. step one in learning to tattoo properly is either get an apprenticeship to know the basics and learn from people who have done this for years, even as far as building your own machines from scratch and needles from scratch. sterilization, ink blending, etc. wtf has this art resolved to i can tattoo i saw it on you tube lol
what is the deal with this "NOBODY ELSE IS ALLOWED TO LEARN" attitude man? has it occured to you that not everyone has the opportunity to go to tattoo college, and that this video might be viewed as a stepping stone and NOT THE HOLY TATTOO BIBLE ITSELF if you find it so depressing, lets see some of your videos; unless you're absolutely set on the idea of keeping tattooing for yourself and want no new blood in the industry whatsoever
