- Eric, Dave and Dod are on hand to help 3 of our American cousins take on the 2024 Manx GP.
Amid bad weather, broken bikes and a very steep learning curve, how did Team America get on?

What a brilliant bunch. Big credit to Dave and the other Americans for going through the all the work necessary to ride on the Isle of Man course. Thanks for uploading this. Excellent entertainment for free.
Newboy Dave's eyes were 'wide open' after his very first lap behind the TM!!!
What a buzz after all that prep and waiting time.
Absolutely fantastic!
Brilliant vid Dave and team. Cant wait for more TT and Manx stuff in 2025 !!
Cheers again Dave and all his crew, good insight to newcomers and the manx gp ,
Brilliant as always 👍🏻👍🏻
Another great video.
Must have been so frustrating with the weather this year especially being a newcomer and getting so few laps. Nice to see Mexico's fastest road racer filling in your video duties Dave.
long way to go to reach Dave's presenting skills😂
Top work. Awesome.
Well done guys 💪🏻💪🏻
Excellent behaviour 👍☘️😁
I was there in June just as a spectator, not racing. It's just an incredible place. Certainly got the dust out of the old bike😂👍.
I remember in 2015 I went out early on my own. Got to signpost and went straight on, got lost in the houses😂 still made it back for breakfast though.
Luckily there's only so far you can get lost 😁
great vid on channel thanks lee
Would love to see a full lap narrated by Dave.
🤔
Me too
That names going to stick 10 pin 😂😂
It was a difficult meeting for everyone, especially newcomers. Hope I'll see you guys later this year. Awaiting a decision on my application for a second Newcomers training (2019).
It really was a tough year, but the guys kept their heads up and kept plugging away!
👍
Davey off topic question: why when they put braided brake lines on race bikes do they make them extra long to the front callipers ? Cheers always wondered
They now tend to run around the outside of the forks, which looks longer, but just keeps them from rubbing on the wheel
@ ah right that makes sense thanks mate
Goodfunwatch
yes ✌️ ..." i can not beliving this is legal"... 😃😁😆
Yankee D seems very humble, for a yank.. Quote here in NZ "if you don't have ability, add capacity" .. more vid's on newbies pleeaase 💕 interesting perspectives
Accepting applications for future Americans? 2x Daytona 200 Competer. Been studying the course for 4 years virtually and in person. Just need start permission from the AMA
Drop us a message at bikes@obsessionengineering.co.uk if you want any info
Surely "Yanks at the Manx"
don't know how we missed that one👍
Hey Dave where is Wade ??
Is that a bit like where's wally/waldo?
@obsession_engineering
Wade Boyd from the San Francisco bay area.
Was on your mexico hill climb vid. He's done the tt a bunch of times as well as his Dad.
That guy didn’t do Americans any favours there. Couldn’t even answer the simple question “what bike are you riding” on the first attempt 😂
Maybe he misheard Dave’s question
So maybe he fluffed the question but he is there riding the TT course living his best life
I think he did great
I’d say that “what you on?” Maybe means something else in USA?
Genuine misheard question but the answer did provide us with some entertainment for the rest of the event😂
Rick is a great rider and a great, humble person. He just gets a bit out of sorts on camera and genuinely misheard the question
No it doesn't 🤦♂️@@ShalomBrother
