That should be a stereo head with two speaker outputs. Hope you don't damage it with only one speaker load. Also, that has been recovered with something.

You can safely run it with one speaker, but yes, it SHOULD be used with a stereo cab. I used it with a single mono cab for years with no problems.
It has not been recovered since it was purchased - I knew the original owner - it came from Fender like this. I'm not sure why it wasn't the gray carpet most of them were, some kind of special run or something.
